That's not a correct translation. A better one is: "King of the Fathers In the Heavens Destroy the sins of the world. King of th Fathers, command with fires."
This song with all that orchestral combination gives me an image where the depths of Hell brings much of fire into this very world. As they pour flames their spirits and demons possess the dogs, wolves into hellish howling demons but the might of Heaven brings mercy for all of those fighting on the ground who choose to fight with the side of God and thus begins the Battle between cursed and the blessed. Much of blood will be spilled in both sides but then Powerwolf finally concludes this song that it will be costly victory for the ”Good guys” :D Anyone else thinking kind of same?
@@PadawanSerg Great question. I didn't think it that far. It was just an imagination. :D But my answer for this is that those who walk their own paths are of course are set aside from the battles. Far from them to keep safe distance. :D

Speaking of the Swiss Guard, listen to the "The Last Stand" by Sabaton. It's exactly what happened in 1527 when the Vatican was invaded and the Swiss Guard sacrificed themselves so the Pope could escape to a fortified castle.
im seeint so many comments saying that this song perfectly fits the Salamanders chapter from 40k, which infuriates me as an Adepta Sororitas player like cmon THEYRE RIGHT THERE THE SALAMANDERS DONT EVEN BELIEVE IN THE DIVINITY OF THE EMPEROR
For the Latin, I think that other commenters have missed a more fundamental/metaphorical aspect. As noted in another thread here, _"ignis"_ is used- and is an interesting choice. To *my* understanding, _"Incendere"_ is preferred when you want to denote using fire in, say, a warfare context (e.g. "burning destruction"). Since this song, and PW in general, doesn't shy away from war themes, I'm assuming this was a deliberate choice. So... since _"ignis"_ is a noun, I think it's supposed to be metaphorical (e.g. using "fire" as a symbol to express purification or cleansing). _"Imperia"_ is used instead of _"impera"_ (again, as pointed out in another thread here). So, long story short- this is plural, not imperative- thus "empires" seems to fit better than "command". If you take both of these points together, I think it's supposed to translate as _"ignite all other empires"_ which is more metaphorical- calling God as both an all-powerful sovereign and a merciful redeemer. So, it asserts that God has *divine authority* which is over human empires (or dominions, ect. whatever) as well as the power to dismantle (e.g. burn away) lesser earthly powers. So, I'm gonna argue that a good translation is: _*"King of the Fathers in the Heavens, destroy the sins of the world. King of the Fathers, ignite all other empires!"* _ So, God as a _king above kings_ type of symbolism (or, as a father above other fathers, e.g. "patriarchs"). Then it denotes God as a redeemer, not just able to but _also willing_ to give redemption- the cleansing of sin. Then, it repeats the _king of kings_ to hammer home the point. Finally, it denotes His authority over earthly powers, able to destroy entire empires if He wills it (symbolically speaking, affirming His almighty power and how His sovereignty is of a higher legitimacy/power/etc. than all others- referring back to "king of kings"). NOTE: I'm working off my memory from highschool Latin which was a little over 10 years ago as of now lmao. So I might be entirely wrong, but this is my interpretation, argument, and reasoning.
The latin lyrics that make the most sense are: rex patrum in caelum peccata mundi delis rex patrum ignis imperia. Roughly translated they mean, "The king of the sky is the sins of the world. Believe in the king of fire power."
