I was sitting down to do May devotions and the song “The Joy of The Lord is my Strength “, popped into my mind and I started singing it. I then thought to search it and found this sermon. What a Blessing!! God does lead, we just need to be opened and aware. Amen

Stumbled upon this sermon and I have no doubt that I was lead here at this specific time by the Holy Spirit for encouragement, strength and to bring into remeberance the promises of God in His Word that we are more than conquerers through Christ Who strengthens us and that He will never leave us nor forsake us. This word was exactly what I needed to hear in this season of my life....for my husband and our friend, too. We have all been struggling this year with the same snares of addiction. A snare that I thought I had beaten 10 years ago, but the enemy is so subtly wicked that he waits until you're at your weakest and most vulnerable emotionally to try and steal our joy, faith and worship.
Our Heavenly Father convicted all 3 of us within hours of each other and put it on each of our hearts to repent and turn back to Him as Lord of our lives and to not try overcoming on our own strength, but through prayer, faith and trust in our Lord and Savior. He's the Good Shepherd.
