Awesome to see Chris on here. You have really peaked my interest on the daisy patch. I might have to get one.
Yeah Chris! So impressed with all the things you have built with it.
So sick! Great work.
I need this!
can you share links to the example patches shown?
Can you play wonderwall on this thing?? Anyways great video, learned a lot, more Chris on the channel!!
yes wonderwall was the first thing performed with this current case configuration.
@@allotropeijk So you mention a Discord where you share programs, which is that? Is it a Daisy community or something else?
@@RhombusLabs we don't have a Discord server specifically for allotrope ijk. We do frequent EZBOT's server and there is a patch-share channel where we can talk more: discord.gg/QcAtTWSw
Can you have several applications at the same time? There is not much info about what capabilities does the oled screen offer, if it has a menu to select multiple apps like they show you with oopsy.
Theoretically you could do this. Currently, I don't think there is built-in ui for switching between different patch programs that would be similar to ornaments and crime/hemispheres. A lot of different data buffers for things like reverbs/delays are allocated at compile time and may be hard to dynamically create without overrunning the devices available memory.
@@allotropeijk hmmm I see. The oopsy demo video showed that you could select apps from the menu but since it compiles from ~gen I didn’t know if it was available natively or it was a specific feature of oopsy. Thanks for the reply!
@@Leandrob13 yeah not super sure about oopsy, I’d suggest asking on the Daisy developer forum
Can you use it a audio interface with my computer? What’s the sample rate?
man's got 3 of them patch i can't even afford 1 lol
but i've the seed and it's an awesome little beast indeed.
I have one im looking for an fm granular max patch...... anyone can help me out know community but I'm asking broadly msg me I prefer an m1 patch but can do pc
I sent mine back. The documentation is so awkward and when you unbox it, it comes with virtually NOTHING on it (or with it) of any use. Yes, I'm a developer, but even then I expect a comprehensive (and time saving) approach to getting started. The Daisy is like a platform for full time content creators. Hope this will change in the future. This thing could be so much more.
Excellent presentation!
