For years I only learned how to play notes and JP is teaching me the rules! Looking forward to meeting you at the West Coast drum shop clinic. Proud student of the gang!
Well, this is pretty whacked because I literally just showed this exact crossover to a student of mine last week ! I learned this one when I was probably around 12 years old. Looking forward to watching this whole video so I can see where you took it to give him more material. Perfect timing!!!
Such a great approach! J’ai trouvé assez fascinant que dans le solo final l’aspect le moins présent est le fait de mettre du silence. Je crois qu’on a tous du mal à ne pas jouer plein de notes. Mais qu’on se comprenne bien ça reste un super solo !
You're literally unveiling the secrets of the all time drummers. This content is gold. Thank you JP!
Amazing teacher you are. Hi from Greece. I am teaching since 2005. Inspirational lessons. Thank you.
Youve become my favorite drum teacher on youtube thanks to these masterclass videos, thanks for making and uploading them
In a great way you're taking the mystery out of drumming with your practical instruction.
That means a lot because that is exactly my goal. Thanks for hearing what I'm saying clearly.
You are top mate . The drumming, explaining, the sound...cheers!
Thanks JP, this is super enlightening, I love the use of the kit at the end, how you brought the bass drum in.

Phenomenal content
A fantastic exploration of a concept I’ve mostly ignored during my time as a drummer. Thanks for this lesson, JP!
Great stuff always!!⚡️✅
Excellent. Glad to hear you got your audio sorted. No more switches 😊

Vous êtes trop gentille, merci! L'espace negatif est toujours la partie la plus importante. Merci de regarder.
@@JPBouvetmerci de faire ces vidéos! Je suis parfaitement consciente du temps que ça demande ^^
Nice work ...Have a sugestion ,do all that starting with left hand lead and after that switching between the two
most all OG jazz drummers did plenty of crossovers. cant argue with that.
Bravo man! Every thing you are telling now is a true!!! Crossovers is so boring! Like circus 🎪
I've never heard somebody roast crossovers so hard lmao 🤣
