Hasn't even entered the phase yet where the majority of use cases have even been developed yet. The use cases are still emerging and being developed. It's just a slow rolling snow ball down a massive mountain.

Then in the chat, someone lost their tokens thru a scam, and he was able to retrieve them, No explanation on how, that seems like some type of centralized control, We never got clarity on how he was able to retrieve stolen tokens back from the scammers. And I've asked.
What a way to get real,tangible, and granular information that you just can't get on any other token...period.
Best way to make responsible decisions on where to put your money in Crypto.

Wanted to ask where to start for someone wanting to get more involved in the community. Are there any local/ online meet-ups that are happening? I work in Zurich, not sure if there’s much of a physical presence of people in Switzerland / Zug?

That usually comes for investors demand and the issuers will usually meet the demand. So if people want to invest in Hedera the HBAR ETF comes naturally.
Question for you. The Dencun upgrade on Etherium that's coming in 2024 which should significantly speed up settlement times and reduce fees. It's bound to bump up all the layer twos on Etherium and drive Etherium's price, too. What impact do you think this will have on H-Bar, which, despite our confidence in it, demonstrably doesn't enjoy the same visibility as other, already running, Altcoins. Do you feel it will divert interest away from H-Bar or do you feel the status of the current Governing Council members and the credibility of the existing, already announced projects is enough to entrench Hedera as the DLT technology of choice? Essentially, Good or Bad for Hedera?

Other networks cannot offer low fees as they would not be sustainable long term. You would need Hashgraph technology to get those low cost factors.

Not developers. The Treasury which is controlled by the Hedera Governing council.

I actually have a concern that Solana will have serious issues and the loss of trust will hurt the whole industry, but I think Hedera’s tech will shine and crypto will move forward.
We actually just saw another example. The ‘gaming’ network Avalanche had fees spike to over $500. Can you imagine building a game on a network and seeing a spike like that. That should be a massive red flag. 🚩

I believe in Hedera Hashgraph and have invested heavily into Hbar but forgive me if I fail to see the utility of a karate game. Why the focus on this aspect week after week after week? I am obviously missing something. Now if you said that Hbar would be used to revolutionise delivery of entertainment platforms such as Spotify or YT then yes I would see a degree of utility. What does karate combat mean to the average Joe?
I’m a fan. It’s perfect for the average Joe because you can participate.
It's just the beginning. It's a REAL WORLD use case example of how Hedera's network can be used and the first sports league to be structured as a DAO. Karate Combat is an example of how under the DAO structure, $KARATE token holders will determine the league’s budget, resource allocation, supplier selection, marketing strategy, rule changes and - within boundaries set by the league’s fight operations group - fighter contracts and fight match-up selections. It gives fans & athletes ownership opportunities. Think about if other sports leagues used this? Both pro, semi-pro, amateur, and youth. Hedera, and other L1's, are still in the stage where use cases are being developed. This is a real world use case that has been developed using one of the world's fastest growing sports. The league’s August event, “Karate Combat 35,” set a league record at approximately 6.6 million digital views, and Karate Combat exceeded 143 million digital video views that month. The league has built an online community of over 3.5 million fans, with more than 1.2 million followers on Instagram, 1.1 million on Facebook, and 860,000 on TikTok.
I'm not a fan either, but I see the potential. Especially when it comes to U.S. college sports that are currently undergoing massive changes with the NIL deals as well as athletes. Think use cases, scalability, & succesful and tangible user testimony to use for marketing purposes. Also, it generates revenue for HBAR via network transactions that cost money. The only way HBAR ever becomes a profitable company is by people/customers actually using it. This is an example of that. It may not always be something you're into, so try to focus on transactions on the network. It's like Visa or Mastercard - millions of ways to make transactions but all transactions mean the same thing: REVENUE which leads to PROFIT. End goal of any business: Profit.

Xeni's goal of adding 50 to 70 million unique users to the Hedera network sounds very big.
If they succees, will their project become a cornerstone for HBAR? And will this possibly lead to an accelerated positive price development for HBAR, regardless of what the market as a whole does? I feel like Hedera needs something that will REALLY make waves. Could this even lead to a possible revaluation of the staking rewards?
Am I overestimating this project or are there really great opportunities here on various fronts for Hedera's ecosystem?
Rob are you also involved in NZ ( through EFTPOS for example )?

Feels primed. Seems like remaining GC members are already in the pipeline. Use cases being developed. Hasn't really had it's major bull run yet. Mance Harmon was literally part of the Air Force in charge of nuclear missile defense. Guys trusted by the Government to do that typically aren't wrong.

ESG is crap and you are working against your own best interest if you advance it. Don't be blinded.
If you drill down on the projects its reforestation, restoring mangroves. Renewable energy, more efficient cooking and so forth so its good from simply a conservation effort, regardless of your thoughts on climate. The projects are unequivocally good..
