If I duplicate the cut-out portion and cut it out using a contrasting wood, would those pieces work as an inlay for the original? As always, THANK YOU.
Yes and no, this one was not cut out, if you would leave the hair lines and use a thin wood, then yes you couldyou could cut out what you want out of your main piece, them cut out just the shapes that you need to fill in out of some other wood, you could even move them around so that they would fit on a smaller piece of wood. you could even go and contour those pieces .003" for a better fix, ( I have a video on that too)
The final detail to add to your videos at the end would be to actually show what was made once you completed the digital work. This would be helpful to me. Thank you!
