Ann Pollard Sorry for the confusion. I already have a tutorial for covers and bindings. I just created this myself. I didn’t follow a tutorial. However, if you want to recreate this project. The covers measure 5-3/4x8 and the spines are 2x8. I used the hinge method to bind my pages and the hinges have 1/2 inch gussets. Since it’s a gatefold you created two sets of hinges. One for each side. These are attached to the two spine pieces.
Sorry Ginger... just saw that you had already provided the dimensions to another scrapper (The covers are 5-3/4x8 the spines are 2x8 and the gussets are 1/2 inch.) Thanks again!
very nice folio, happyy that they picked you as an ambassador. Can I give a little trick? The long envelopes you have on some pages if you wouldn't glue them so much to the sides it would be easier to get what's in them, they would expand just enough for the access to be easier. ;-) Dominique
A question for you, Ginger. Some of the gals in my club say that their hidden hinge comes loose from the spine. Have you had any problems with your hinges? And if so, how did you solve the problem? Thank you.
Kristine Vencel I always use score tape. I mean REAL score tape. I have never had one of my hinges in the hundreds of books I have made come apart. Not “scrappy” tape, or other double sided adhesive. Only REAL score tape. Now if you live in a humid area, then you want to use a “wet” adhesive. I recommend “Art Glitter” Glue.

Sondra, Graphic 45 have dies that cut the mat layer for you so you don’t have to trace them anymore. I used the dies.
