My Father was on he Eastern front with soviets in WW2, he was told the same thing they tell their soldiers today, do not try to retreat or we'll shoot you. They used the same meat wave assaults also. He was eventually captured by the Germans who treated him well gave him some food a pack of smokes. He said the Germans were way more humane than the russians.

There may be issues in regard to the value of minerals, how mineral rights were secured, how these are compensated, in regard to the valuation of a business such as a mining operation. However, in my opinion, what would be more fair, if necessary, would be to (nationalize) these industries through immanent domain, and compensate for the acquisition. Fair compensation is important, in any regard we might consider, as is equality before the law. How many business people anywhere are in business to make money for others? If stealing is involved I think taking by force the assets and capital of foreign investors without fair compensation would be stealing. We might point our fingers at past wrongs, and the farther we go back the more wrong it may have been, but this is not exclusive to any. We are not the past we are the present and we are not responsible for the deeds of others. Fair business today should be the standard. I think it's wrong and unfair and detrimental to Africa to consider international investment in Africa to be stealing from Africa. If stealing is involved I think taking by force the assets and capital of foreign investors without fair compensation would be stealing. We might point our fingers at past wrongs, and the farther we go back the more wrong it may have been, but this is not exclusive to any. We are not the past we are the present and we are not responsible for the deeds of others. Fair business today should be the standard. I think it's wrong and unfair and detrimental to Africa to consider international investment in Africa to be stealing from Africa. If we lose even one person that is both a loss to our own weight and a gain to a counter weight. Through liberty and democracy we must continuously strive for the strongest balance in order to succeed.
What do we all want? We all want what we value. How can we effectively get this is the question.
What is the check and balance on liberty and democracy? What is the reality check on liberty and democracy? Reality itself. Reality is the reality check on liberty and democracy. Who can we best trust to serve our individual and cooperative interests and values? I think we can best trust only ourselves.

The majority of taxes from the whole country go to Moscow, the Moscow government can afford to pave roads and replace stone on sidewalks twice a year if they wish to do so, while in Siberia cities are struggling to to provide people with basic necessities.
