THE BEST WAY OF LEARNING
The very important objective of plant breeding is to getting higher yield..!
1:27 but we've missed the bigger picture, by removing animal agriculture and replacing it with crops we see an enormous improvement in overall productivity, a huge reduction in pollution and waste, and a carry-on effect of preventing infectious and non-infectious disease emergence and prevalence. Some things are just not good to be farmed, animals are one of those things.
Thanks for your presentation, I have learn a lot. I really needs to study more about haploid and double hypoid for a short period of F1. Maize breeding. Thanks again

Amazing video. I have a question.
We are told that hybrid seeds will not yield back if planted for a second time. How do companies populate the seeds for distributing, if it cannot be done naturally from growing the plant multiple times and collecting the seeds back?

8:58 how? Maybe the hybrid plant can also get negative properties of each other forming a plant with low disease resistance and low yielding...
Dominants only get into other generation
Very true...Because its result of combination breeding ...However it is important to know that the products of hybridization is always a hybrid but all hybrids are not released as hybrid variety . Only those which show heterosis for desired characters are released hence all hybrids are not hybrid varieties but all hybrid varieties are necessarily be hybrids.
Ok

Actually how plants are cross hybridised...means their parts are for crossing or other?????
To make required plant type or variety. Female plant or flower is emasculated ie removal of make part is pollens and desired male parent pollens are brought to this emasucated flower to recombine characters of two varieties ie female and male which make new hybrid.
