I've read 3 CoHo books, all in 2022. I started out with It Ends With Us, then read Ugly Love and It Starts With Us. I liked them initially, but after further research into CoHo as an author and a deep dive into the content of these books/her other work, I simply cannot supoort her as an author anymore. Personally, I feel as though she writes the male characters for most of her books as very toxic and borderline abusive, and I can't stand for that. Besides that, I always felt like her main characters were very bland and one-dimensional. I'm sorry, but I can't read 10 books in a row where EVERY character is a white person. It's just not interesting to me, it's not relatable, and it's just downright annoying after a while. I know that CoHo is a very popular author these days and I'm not hating on anyone who enjoys her books, I'm just stating my opinion on her stuff. And in my humble opinion, I think there are LOADS of better authors than her. People like to act like she's the ONLY one who writes romance books these days, when there are thousands of amazing authors - especially POCs - who are just as good, or even better than her. Idk, that's just my thoughts on her haha, no hate to anyone though! ❤️
No, she SHOULD be hated, especially since her son committed assault and she blocked the girl who tried to message her about it. Not only does she write abusive r-pists, she’s the mother of one too and doesn’t care. Despicable person.
I can’t believe you got through all your perfects or whatever it’s called. It’s literally sitting on my self unread because I’m so annoyed that she doesn’t communicate. And as a counselor it irritates me. 😂
