Each subsequent release in the line seems to be Bette than the last. Though this hotspot has to be the best so far. I don’t see the remaining limbs being better than hotspot
Just paid the invoice for this guy hoping it arrives this week coming. Looks great, and they’ve definitely learnt from onslaught how to design the torso proportionally. My only issue and its being picky is the hollowness of the foot in combined mode, but the engineering to be all in one I can forgive that. I’m sure Iv seen that they are expecting to release one of the two remaining limbs this year, but was wondering if they have confirmed with you that they intend to finish the combiner this year?
Excellent job......remembering the Streak comparison. I was certain missing the live was going to doom this review but Paik pulled it out and brave man for showing off your "posing" skills 👏👏👏🤣 I'm excited for this guy, paid my balance last week. The MMC Bruticus was my first combiner and have space waiting for this team.
I missed another one so glad there is a replay. I am beginning to think all of your streams are planned by a random number generator. Great thorough overview I cannot wait for my copy to arrive.
Arrived today, wow what a figure, night and day compared to Onslaught. imposing, sturdy, good articulation for such a big bot, and the hip design will make a world of difference in combined mode. Very impressed.
Hi Paik! sorry to bother you again But about Ocular Max you are the man. I wonder if you have any idea for what the 2 hinges that form the center upper part of the windshield are for? The manual does not mention them at all in any of the 3 modes.
I think it’s remnants from a previous design. They had said it was for avoiding collisions for transformation but I think the design changed over time to where it was no long needed
I hope they make a kit like the Ocular max Bruticus foot plates chest plates should help alot But i still in for the whole Ocular max Defensor over X transbots verson
It’s a nice piece and mine is literally on the way. One thing I’m bummed about about is that there isn’t any L.E.D lights of any kind and that would make this piece really special for me if it did. Other than that it’s good and I will be happy to have a really well made built Defensor
Yeah I wonder why they didn’t do lights like they did for onslaught. Frankly I do prefer colored eyes over clear because clear eyes look dead when not lit
@@Paik4Life True. How about this, why not have a mod/upgrade kit in the near future with a spare head with LED’s? That would be beyond amazing for me
Hi there paik! I was wondering if you know the reason why there are 2 package variants for the PS-23 Ignis case, one comes packaged in alt mode and the other comes packaged in robot mode. And if there is any difference between both releases. I saw that you made a video for both packaging styles on the official Mastermind UA-cam channel. So I thought Paik must know the reason for this.
For Asian and western releases. They go with the more compact dimensions for overseas to save on shipping costs. Asian releases they go for robot mode as they have said that those customers have a strong preference for having figures always come out in robot mode. Otherwise no difference.
Eventually is a long time LOL. So yes. But my guess is that it won't be for a while given they have Devy up next after they finish two more Protectobots.
Got mine recently, and I noticed a small hinged piece on the back of the arm that makes up part of the windshield in truck mode, I haven't seen anybody talk about it in any reviews so I was curious if you knew if it had a purpose?
You mean best combiner ever or best of the ones from Ocular Max/MMC? It’s definitely way better overall than their Bruticus in my opinion. But it’d be hard to say if he’s the best combiner ever since values/priorities differ person to person. Some people may not care at all about the all in one combiner/engineering and dislike that it’s not as tall as other combiners. I love it though.
So alas I don't have the opportunity to watch all of this to find out the differences between this and the prototype (toddlers eh) any chance of a synopsis of what they are? Just waiting on mine to ship
This one doesn’t go into a lot of detail of the differences but main things are all tolerance improvements and the improved locking mech for the thighs that were really difficult in my preview copy.
Received mine today and I got to say Ocular Max's all-in-one is just impressive! Love their Bruticus and Hotspot is no exception. Job well done!

Was just able to finish watching. So excited for this! All of the improvements are great. Thanks again for the long and detailed look! 😎👍
Awesome review, Paik! Those stabilizers you were inquiring about are called outriggers. Keep it up, homie.
Thanks Polaris!

That’s because F the UA-cam algorithm and consistency!

Awesome. Glad I’m not the only one super impressed by the overall improvements.
Looks great!
FOUR years between FT Air Raid and Fireflight. And no noticeable improvements!

Foot fillers/ weights would be a nice add on I think.
Yeah same here. Also if they include a Defensor head that is an LED that would be super super cool

Got mine paid for and I'm just waiting.
Nice, I hope you enjoy as much as I do

@@Paik4Life Thank you for your answer!
Just got mine and love it. My box is bigger and he came in bot mode though.
You got the Asian market variant.
Ah, that would make sense. Do you know if there are any differences with the figure? It doesn't seem so.
@@lowellmartens6135 no differences. Just packaged differently to suit the markets and optimize shipping costs
@paik4life
Do you think MMC will eventually do Superion?

I asked the same thing and they said it was for some transformation clearance issues but I never seemed to have any such issues. So I’m not sure
i know its early to say, this might be the best combiner?

you never showed the collared version in combined mode. does he still have it?

@Paik4Life that's great thanks still been trying to watch bits and bobs of it
