  • YOU ARE MY RHAPSODY IN BLUE
George Gershwin became world famous overnight with the 1924 premiere of his Rhapsody in Blue for jazz band and piano. Shortly before his untimely death at age 38, Gershwin began to arrange his Rhapsody for symphonic chorus, full orchestra, and piano. Just in time for its 100th anniversary in 2024, pianist Michael Fennelly has reconstructed and completed the incomplete sketches for Gershwin's choral version, titled You Are My Rhapsody In Blue.
