There is not enough time in a day to do all the quilting and counted cross-stitching I would like to get done. Love all the stitching you shared with us. Thanks!
Your stockings are beautiful! I don't quilt, but I appreciate all the time and effort that goes into quilting. Yes, the groundhog did lie! I am in SE PA, so the snow came on Tuesday, but it hasn't all melted yet. That's OK - more time to stay indoors and stitch.
I look forward to our time spent together with your videos. Congratulations on the finish, I love it. I love your stockings. I wish I could sew, the only sewing I do is cross stitch. See you next time. Happy stitching 🪡😊☃️
The stockings are wonderful, i love the Star Wars one in blue. I have pondering A Stitch in Time. Truely words to live by a a sewer - stitcher. Retirement sounds FABULOUS, i am not quite there but I'm so happy you are.😊
Hi Nancy, congratulations on your Bowl of Cherries finish. 👏🍒👏🍒👏 I love your stockings. I should do the same for our family. Once you retire, you'll wonder how you ever had time to work. 😊 I so love watching your flosstube. Happy Stitching and Quilting. ❤❤❤
You are getting some great progress in on pieces. Congrats on finding a method for WIPGO, etc, that works for you. I will never understand saying something negative about someone's video. I've quit watching videos plenty of times, and the creator would never know because I just go to another one. There is no reason to say anything negative. It's time everyone learned that lesson.
I love your finish! So cute! The Christmas in the City piece looks amazing. The idea of adding gold in the windows is brilliant. The fabric choice is perfect for that one. Your stockings are beautiful. My favorite is the one that you said she didn’t have a preference and you just pulled scraps. I am sure you will enjoy all of your extra time when you retire. I know I’m enjoying mine. Have a great rest of the month. Kara
Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. I spent 39 years in education, retired in 2017, and I love it. So much more time for quilting and cross stitching!
Your bird and berries piece looks wonderful. I have the pattern, I think I bought it twice, and I should start it. I love the bird which is why I bought it. Your Hawk Run Hollow pieces look good and are coming along nicely. I want to stitch the Shores of Hawk Run Hollow as separate pieces but haven’t worked up the courage to commit. I keep thinking about it though. When you retire you will have so much free time to stitch and quilt as much as you want. I’m a retired teacher and came back to stitching consistently about a year after I retired. I had started stitching in the early 80’s and quit in the mid 90’s as life took a different turn. I have boxes of seasonal smalls that I have stitched since 2016. So your time is almost here. Congrats on keeping up with your three boards. I wish I was that committed. I watched a video last week where the FlossTuber was criticized in a rather nasty way which I didn’t understand. The FlossTuber is the nicest sweetest person. I commented that if she didn’t like the ads to get Premium. I had Premium for music and didn’t realize at first that because I had it I didn’t see ads that people were asking about. Anyway, thank you for reminding people to be kind. And when I see nasty comments on FB I comment back with just keep scrolling. I know you all spend a lot of time putting the videos together so thank you. Rant over. Hope you have a good two weeks.
I'm so sorry you lost your stockings, but your quilted ones are magnificent!! ❤ Every time I watch your videos, I think we are absolutely of similar nature.😂 I also really enjoy a Rocky beach (preferably in the woods with a cabin) over a sandy one. Catch you next time!
We've had situations in our kids schools where they increased the school day by about 5 or 10 minutes per class everyday until the time was made up so school finished on time. I've been off kilter since last Nov. Still trying to find my groove. Your successes are encouraging. Your stockings are beautiful! OMG that red "A Stitch in Time Saves Nine" sampler is on my wish list. Thank you Nancy for a lovely Flosstube!
Time is a great thing to have a lot of. Love, love your stockings. The hat quilt pattern is really cool. I enjoy your video always. Congratulations on your retirement!
Your Christmas stockings are beautiful memories for your family. I thought I would be bored once I retired. Now I have too many things on my schedule and there is never a dull moment. I’m learning to schedule in my stitching time…😂.
The sampler using GAST schoolhouse red floss or CC Chester's Blue would be a fun time to stitch. My plans keep changing now this month for some reason as I got my WIPGO & HEIFR boards done! Frosty Tiny Town is adorable. I haven't tried Grace Notes fabrics yet. They look wonderful.
You're one of my favourite floss-tubers...I just love your approach to projects. Glad to hear you have a bit of a respite at work with the help of that student teacher...though if her learning curve is steep enough, it's probably a mixed blessing! 😉 And yes, you are so right about giving grace. It takes no time at all to be kind -- and not much effort either. That red sampler is lovely. I've done one HATS red sampler (Ruth Gibb 1882 -- my maternal grandmother's maiden name was Gibb) and would love to find the time to do another (hint, hint!) Blessings to you for the rest of February...from western Canada. ❤
Your Christmas stitch looks so good on the fabric you chose. In regards to the windows, if it were me, I would wait until I had more stitched, and make a decision when I see more of the picture emerge. Those stockings are amazing and I love the progress on your Summer Quaker!
Always enjoy your videos to see what you are working on. The stockings are beautiful. Ohh the spools are super, great find. Thank you for sharing. Time
I loved all your shares. You always have such beautiful projects that you’re working on. You mentioned that the groundhog lied. 😂 I totally agree with you. Northern California is going to get hit by two storms back to back. That’s what the weather forecaster said. Ugh - I want to get out in my garden and get my seedlings into the garden beds. But for now, I’ll be tending to them in my greenhouse, so I’ll choose to just be grateful for that. 😊 Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you for showing your wonderful Christmas stockings! So glad your husband urged you on. Please thank him for us. Then you made me chuckle when you said, "Objects of Which I Bestow on Others" - another alphabet soup to use? OOWIBOO?! Thanks Nancy.
Oh! How I wish I had more stitchy time. As always, I enjoyed spending time with you. With Market, I wish I had a bigger budget. Congrats on a finish! Bummer about making up snow days. Last winter, our state legislature excused some of ours because it was so extreme. 😮
Omg! I had to order the same Sew Sampler box because I had to have the hat pattern!!! I had seen it on Tammy Ernst a while back and had to order immediately! Loved it! I use to get it every month but stopped probably a year ago. I made quilted stockings for all my kids and grandkids. Now I’d like to do the Shepherd’s Bush ones. Wish I had more time and of course money.
Thank you as always for sharing your stitching! It is beautiful. I love the stockings you made for your family. What a great idea! You are so talented, and creative. Making each stocking a different quilt block style was genius! ❤
Love your stitching projects. Love your shirt. Love your sense of humor. You make me chuckle. I am also stitching Village of HRH in DMC and am very happy with the colors. Time
Hi Nancy. I've been so behind on floss tube because of too much "life" stuff. So glad that I caught up on all of your projects! Congratulations on your upcoming retirement. You will love it and feel like a whole new person:) Thanks for another great flosstube. Have a great week:) Inez
I so enjoy your videos. I don't know how you have time to do all that you do. I just did a notify me on 123 stitch for the winter tiny town and a couple other patterns. Glad you have a student teacher.
Grace….not an “aunti-q” thing to believe in or practice. Just had to smile at it all. Peace and happy stitching. Oh…and I would fill in just one window on that house, one little light to shine😊
I love stories about reading/spelling funnies! In the ELEVENTH grade, I had to write a sentence on the board. Don’t remember the whole thing, but it had pumpkin in it….except I spelled it PUNKIN!!! My family still gives me heck over it. But not my mom. When she was a young lady, she told her Daddy to slow down from the backseat…because the speed-o-meter said he was speeding!!! He called her Speedo for the longest time.
Thank you so much for today’s video! I’m super excited for your student teacher and that they are having a good experience this early in their teaching career. My hubby calls them “an-tiki” stores. 🤪
Great video. Love the stockings you made. My friend and I both call them anti ques too. Lol if we drive to Maine there are so many shops , so we started calling them anti-ques! Happy stitching
Christmas In The City is BEAUTIFUL!!!And I love your Christmas stockings, I especially like yours. Red is the best color. You may not have alot of spare time, but you accomplished alot since lasty video. Congrats
I enjoy spending time with you and your flosstube! Thank you for sharing a reminder that we all need to practice kindness and grace, the world needs more of that.
Congrats on your retirement! I’m looking forward to retiring in April after working 43 years for the State of Iowa at the Mental Health Institute. Time for us to enjoy! Love your stockings!,
Love spending time watching your episodes. Keep the house windows as is, your choice of linen was perfect, just saying! PS I thoroughly enjoyed your last Zoom, inspite of all my technical difficulties, thanks for sharing your time with us. Happy stitching💚
I so enjoy spending time with you watching your creativity. Love the stockings you made for your family. Time well spent showing your love for your family. Happy Stitching!
Love your flosstubes. I thought I'd have so much time when I retired to do all my crafts, but not the case. Spending time with family and friends have definitely filled up my days. Good luck!
Hi Nancy, I always enjoy your floss tube. I’m encouraged to see your progress on The Map of Hawk Run Hollow. I have the chart for The Shores of Hawk Run Hollow but feel a little intimidated by its size. If only we could have more time in our days to stitch 😂
I have to laugh every time I hear you say you’ll do so much when you retire because you’ll have more time. I thought that also but there is never enough time to do all the crafts we want plus the things that we have to do. You inserted the OOPS! slide on the screen and then followed it up by saying, "My husband was after me to show these off." 😂 I was literally laughing out loud at the timing of your statement.
Loved seeing your stitching! Have you started a countdown of days till your retirement? When I decided on my date of retirement, I had a countdown on my calendar at work. It was 9 months of a countdown but on the days when I thought I couldn’t get through the day I would look at that calendar and know I only had so many days left. Those spools are gorgeous! Time. You will have so much more time to stitch and quilt when you retire. How are your knees doing? I think about you and all the walking you need to do at school.
Those stockings are amazing!! I love the Star Wars one. How much time does that take? (I'm only getting started with quilting, really.) The Stitch in Time sampler will be so cool, I've been thinking about that one! "Anti-Que!"😂 Oo, I vote for gold in the windows, almost forgot.
Thanks for the video. Light warm gold in the windows is my vote.
I would put gold or a pale yellow in the windows. I have never outlined & filled in
Yes, fill the windows in. 😊
There is not enough time in a day to do all the quilting and counted cross-stitching I would like to get done. Love all the stitching you shared with us. Thanks!

Thanks for speaking your time showing us all your stitching
Retirement is closer every day! You have some great projects. Time
Just found you and LOVE everything you are stitching. Now that I have time, I can’t wait to stitch several of the projects you showed.
Thank you for the wonderful comments. Take care!

Crochet is something I want to learn
First time watching you. Great video.
Love your cherry bowl finish!!! Your family stockings are amazing. The time you spend with us is very enjoyable ❤❤
Always enjoy your videos and projects. Love your sense of humor…I chuckled several times today…especially about the misplaced sticker books. Your family stockings are beautiful. I need more TIME in the day to stitch all the things! Those spools are awesome. Stand firm on your soap box Nancy…completely agree!!! ❤️
Yahoo! Email on its way! Your videos are so much fun! You're brave taking on the Hawk Run Hallows!
Take a look at the extra video I am posting 🤗
Love your flosstubes. I am looking forward to watching the snow fall and stitching as the time goes by this holiday weekend. Beautiful projects as always..Happy Stitching 🙋♀️
Your quilted Christmas stockings are just beautiful!!! I have to make the time to learn how to quilt. Happy Stitching and thanks for your Flosstubes.
You inserted the OOPS! slide on the screen and then followed it up by saying, "My husband was after me to show these off." 😂 I was literally laughing out loud at the timing of your statement.
Didn't think about that
Loved seeing your stitching! Time. That sampler is gorgeous!
I love spending time with you on each of your floss tubes. The stitch is so beautiful. ❤Thank you.
I love spending time with you ❤
Thank you so much!
Congrats on your soon to be retirement. It will be wonderful to have time to do what you want
I live in Ontario…the board of education has changed a professional development day to the day of the eclipse so kids are not at school in the dark. Never mind the educational opportunity here. Flat folds are straight forward…I am sure you can do it. I movies is a free app…I use it to edit my flosstubes and find it fairly easy once my kid explains it.
Ooh I love that stitch in time saves nine! I’ve been so tempted by the hobby house one too😂😂😂 I need to work on my Map of hrh. For preorders I think I’m holding at I think 4- plus 2 my friend is getting for me and giving to me in May for my bday😊 I did get the frosty tiny town! Love it! That will be fun! Hope to see you too
Love your channel!!!

I actually have a plan to keep HATS going all year, working on it every weekend. This one would be perfect. And just as a by the way, I'm working on Long Dog Samplers, Pandemic every weekday after work.
Thanks for another great flosstube. Your projects looked wonderful.
Wow you made a lot of progress this time.
Loved your stockings. Have you ever had thought about making lap quilts with your fabric scraps
Keeps on stitching. ann
Yes I have, maybe one day :)
I love the red sampler from Australia. I would love to stitch it! Will we ever have time to stitch all the things?
Time is very valuable.
The most time is in making the blocks and the quilting.
