I'm finally starting to understand the meaning of this song. I've had a tough past, made mistakes I can't take back, gone through a lot. However, I feel like I'm finally beginning to change inside. I realize living with self-hatred and guilt is not how I should be. If I love God, if I love others, I must learn to love myself also. I need to realize God loves me and always has. I may not be perfect, I may have my weaknesses still, but I am a work in progress. I just have to have to have faith in God and the realization that, as Matthew West puts it so well, "Grace Wins Every Time!" And such a great live performance, Matthew! So much passion.. I hope to see you in concert over the summer in Montgomery, NY. A drive that will be well worth it, coming from Long Island.
