Wow. I really like this. It gives me an impression of a pandemic movie. It's got that biohazard feel (if you know what I mean), and elements of sadness too.
I am torn on this one On the one side its majestic, but then lacks a certain umpf..but somehow...not? I am confused xD the quieter passages seem very melancholic but shift into beeing very colourful and hopeful but mabye these two "circles/cycles" consost of more "subcycles" I cant really grasp it It very much reminds me of the saying, "its lonely at the top" with the one side beeing powefull and mighty (the public face) and the other side beeing lonely and melancholic (the private face) Somehow this one didnt grip me as hard as the other songs you have produced, but in a sense it did, because it made me think about it that much I would love to hear about the thought process behind this musical piece as I cannot grasp it fully Love you music :D
Wow, thanks so much for your comment.. I am really impressed. This track was one of the most difficult to write, and it took me a very very long time to get it right (or at least, right for me). It was inspired by space travel. I wanted to try and grasp the feeling of floating in space, where on one side you have this vast nothingness of spectacular things and explosions and stars, and on the other side you survive thanks to this tiny can of metal floating around without making a sound. If these things were music, I imagine they would be this track.
I like it a bit more every time i listen to it :D Now that I know what feeling you were going for, I understand the song better. Maybe it was the name that put me of, usually you nail those perfect every time ^o^ Thinking about the vastness of space makes me melancholic, only one tiny human nothing compared to the abiss of the universe It really is incredible thinking about flying to different moons, planets and stars in a tiny can of metal like you said :D You captured this feeling very good :D Its maybe comparable to sailing on the open ocean, exept in every direction possible... ...I had to listen to their finest hour the get me out of the melancholy :DD
