    Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy upon us, Amen. Grant, Lord, to keep us this day without sin. Blessed are You O Lord, God of our fathers, and praised and glorified is Your Name for ever. Amen. Lord, let Your mercy come upon us, O Lord, for we have trusted in You. Blessed are You O Lord, teach me Your commandments. Blessed are You O Master, make me to understand Your commandments. Blessed are You, O Holy One, enlighten me with Your commandments. Lord, Your love endures forever; Do not turn away from the work of Your hands. To You belong praise, and song. Glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.

    Beautiful!
    Lotti's Crucifixus a 8 is probably one of the most intense choral settings I have ever heard and at the same time it's so hauntingly beautiful. A master piece!

    He was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate:
    He suffered and was buried.
    And on the third day he rose again, according to the scriptures.
    And ascended into heaven: and sitteth on the right hand of the Father.
    And he shall come again in glory to judge both the quick and the dead;
    Whose kingdom shall have no end.

    Glorious piece, glorious choir -- not so glorious mic-ing job, unfortunately. Sounds like it's in mono? And so closely mic-ed that we can't hear any of the amazing reverberation in that wonderful space. But amazing performance for sure.

    Tu fus injustement condamné à la mort infamante de la croix pour nous sauver faisant de cette abjection la circonstance incroyable de nous témoigner ton amour excessif afin que nous comprenions que le pardon triomphe de notre volonté meurtrière. ainsi Tu nous changes et nous transfigures selon la sainte volonté du Père Céleste que tu fis tienne jusqu'au bout. Merci Jésus.

      An interesting fact about British and US-American Choirs is that they struggle with languages other than English.
      True is that you have challenges with every language that isn't your mother tongue but native speakers told me they love choirs from german speaking countries because they don't struggle with a lot of pronunciation. (Well, my opinion is that germans trying to speak English sounds horrible. But they have something about their Latin pronunciation that is considered as one of the best beneath French and Italian pronunciation.)

    Of course we killed god’s son. But god killed our sons first, indeed god was the first murderer to ever be, we learned from him and then we killed eachothers sons. Existence is an act of vengeance and killing. And dont be mistaken, after the judgement and even in heaven there is more killing to be had yet.
