The rear wheel should be aligned straight with the vehicle. If it isn't then when you accelerate or brake hard the rear end will swing out in the direction the tire is pointed, which can be very bad. The correct method is to adjust the toe adjusters, just like on every car on the road. Adjust one side a certain amount and then do the other side the same amount in the opposite direction.
I have a 2022 and have the same issue with the leaking gear oil, what sealant did you use to repair it? or did you take to dealer to have repaired? The leak resulted to my shifter cable coming a loose.. Had to drive home stuck in 3rd gear.. As you stated other than fixing the problems, (Which at this PRICE POINT you should have) its an awesome bike.. Let me know what you did please. Thanks..
lol wow!!! this thing kept up with a GSxr 750 and an R1???? that is crazy fast lol... I guess it really can run with super cars and sportsbikes! I just ordered one myself. I love the acid green color. I was trying to see if there was alternative because I know several people are getting the acid green. I might go with the yellow though...Keep making vids! it would be good to see more fly bye and footage of this on the street!
Be careful bro. I had one for several years until I totaled it. By the grace of God myself and my passenger (who had a 5 year old son) were unharmed. This machine has a way of lulling into a false comfort zone, and I found that it was nearly impossible to drive sensibly. On the eve of the crash, I accelerated as I had done 1000 times before, yet this time found myself careening into the concrete median of the highway in an instant. No gloom & doom here, but I wouldn’t get too comfortable for your own sake, and moreover for others you share the road with.
Abe do you know if D&M Motorsports knows about these issues and are they doing the repairs necessary on all of their 2021 RR’s??? I’m asking because I will be picking mine up next month. Keep doing the awesome videos for us newbies to the RR fam!
mine took a little over 4 quarts with the new filter. put 4 quarts in, let it run a few minutes, turn it off, let it sit awhile, then check the level sight glass behind the passenger side givi bag.
I'm in a similar situation to yours as far as having owned the 16SP before buying a RR. Do you think it was worth upgrading, or do you regret having bought the RR while no longer having the SP (or do you still have one I don't know)?
@@goku781 The 16sp was fast up until about 90-100 and then hit a brick wall...not sure why. My 16sp was tuned which helped a good amount. The 14RR loves to rev and you better be hanging on! haha.
Hi, Just picked one up yesterday found a missing bolt in my exhaust bracket mount, I’ll be looking at the brake caliper bolts to make sure they’re tight. You’ll be very impressed with the power. Trust me. Make sure your dealer sorts yours out before you get it. Let me know what color you get!
