I got this kit and I love it. Everyone’s different I understand that. I find it really easy but you got to have the time to do it and that can be off putting but it makes my nails so strong and no chips for 2 weeks. The removal I use pure acetone from Amazon and a nail bath thing where you put warm - hot water in the bottom and the plastic lid you pour the acetone in an dip your nails in and it comes off melts off in 15 mins it’s great way to remove it I use the metal cuticle pusher in the kit to scrap it off and then buff and clean my nails obviously for some people this could be bit harsh on there skin but I moisturise after and I do wash my hands within the 3 hours doesn’t affect my nails at all x
I was looking for genuine reviews on this as all I see is positive general comments. Thank you for sharing your experience - very informative and maybe I’ll give this a pass!!
Thank you for reminding me why a classic nail polish is the easiest option and I always ditched my attempts at home uv gel nails as well as salon nails. The damage, the fuss…I can’t do it again 😅
Need more people like this to do honest reviews! Really wanted to get this nail kit but changed my mind, top expensive and looks like it will take ages!
Oh, wow! Thank you SO much for sharing your experience, Cindy. I really hope that your nails are healthier now. Was actually considering to get a kit but was skeptical about my lack of skills on the subject, and the marketing makes it look so effortless. It looks like going to the salon every once in a while is still one of the best options.
Thank you for this review. I actually bought mine, and I regretted it. The base coat went to my skin and it was really painful to removed. It’s just a waste of money for me 😢
Thank you for this review I was so close purchasing a kit based on how easy it looks. I’m a mum of 3 and really don’t have time fussing about with nails like that especially if the chemicals they use can be irritating as well trying to file down and remove the polish. Appreciate you 💖
You can just go and get it...just has to be 100% pure acetone, not nail Polish remover WITH acetone. Comes off using the bag method in minutes. Add some coconut oil to the bag with the acetone too, moisturises and protects.
Thank you so much for the review, I just received my kit and trying to understand properly how to use it. I find the instructions a bit unclear for me. This is why I watch it in UA-cam now. I ordered the removal with the set as I had a student discount on the kit and all their products. I will apply two layers as you recommended, I am not a fun of unnatural looking nails.
Hey- are you still looking for a remover? Bio Seaweed Gel’s unpolished+ (in a nail polish bottle) works well for me. No acetone Edit: apparently Sassy Nails has a similar product called Remove It - that’s probably what they wanted you to buy
OMG can they make it any more difficult?? This is waaay too much for me or even the average person I reckon to want to deal with. Why can’t they just give you a print out of the instructions in the first place? Then 4 layers?? And can’t wash your hands for 3 hours? And trying to remove it sounds like a nightmare!! And they don’t even give you enough alcohol. Plus they seem just really damaging to your nails. Sorry hard pass from me. But thanks for reviewing and letting us know so we know to avoid!
I just tried it and I wouldn't recommend it or purchase again. I've tried for an hour. The color is much paler than on the image. Four layers (as instructed) is way to bulky. Overall its very uneven, it's super hard to not get the base layer on the skin, the brush got stuck on the base, making it even more uneven. I didn't bother to check the removal tutorial before applying and you have to buff when you start removing. So annoying and I don't have rice at home and it looks hideous. So dusty also. On the positive side, it seems as strong and thick as gel polish, which is going to be very hard now for me to remove. Sigh

(Rice might be safer given the situation with water bottles) They are quite fiddly but I’d strongly recommend using enough acetone in the bag, that way they come off a little easier 😊
I was given a kit and was watching your review to learn how to use it. After watching your video, I decided not to use the kit. It sounds like a whole lot of trouble, on top of damaging nails when you remove the polish. Back to gel for me, or normal nail varnish.

Thanks for watching! It could very well be my lack of skills to but I did really try to make it work 🙈🥹
You don’t see the negative feedback because they delete them 🥲

It’s pure acetone. Quite cheap. (Not normal polish remover)

Don’t let this put you off! I’ve just done my first set and they’re amazing!

Thanks for watching and always happy to help! 🙈🥰💖
Could you try the stuff you brush on and it bubbles and lifts I use it and it’s really good 😊
Oo ill give that a try thank you! 😁
I think the clean it is to clean your brush
I think you need pure acetone to remove, regular nail polish remover won’t work. You can get acetone cheaply from home bargains
Thank you! 🙌

Agreed, I really struggled to get it right or even get the hang of it😭

How do you remove the nail polish ?

Your nails look white to me 🤷♀️
