Good luck Kass!!! I know it’s extremely hard to be open about this situation because you feel like “something isn’t right with you”. I went through 7 years of infertility and kept a lot of it to myself. I’m happy you have a platform to make other women see it’s normal and okay!
After 7 years of infertility I became pregnant with a surprise “natural” baby and couldn’t be more shocked. I know it feels like an endless battle but you and Josh deserve this baby and whatever way it happens, it will! Praying for you and thank you again for being so open!! ❤

Sending all my love, strength & prayers ❤ my husband and I started our first round of IVF this month following a few failed/ cancelled IUI cycles. Unfortunately 8 days in our cycle was cancelled due to an ovarian cyst absorbing most of the hormone injection medication and leaving us with only a few small follicles. There was no guarantee of collecting any eggs (maybe 2 at most) if we attempted an egg collection, so we were advised to cancel and try again once the cyst is gone. I struggled with medication side effects with our IUI but IVF was a whole new level. The amount of medication I had over two weeks for my IUI, I had the equivalent in 3 days for my IVF cycle, plus more! and injected 8 days total before our cycle was cancelled. I hope you are/ were doing okay with side effects and doing what you can, where possible to rest and take it easy throughout this process. Hope the injections/ side effects aren’t/ didn’t give you too much grief. Also have a high pain tolerance (have severe, chronic pelvic pain/endo) and some of the injections sting so badly! We did our trigger a few nights ago to ensure all the little follicles resolve and don’t risk developing more cysts. Hoping the actual cyst will resolve itself before starting our next cycle and trying again 🤞🏻 such a roller coaster journey, and can be so overwhelming. I have everything crossed for you. I know how vulnerable this journey is, thank you for being so open in sharing your journey. I know watching myself is comforting to know I am not alone in this journey right now. Your strength and resilience is so admirable, you’ve got this guys ❤
P.S. I found ice & using numbing cream really helpful for my injections, especially numbing cream. I would apply around 30 minutes prior to injections and put some cling wrap over the top to prevent it all coming off/ getting on my clothes. It numbed my skin more than the ice (less burn from an ice pack too) and it really helped take the edge off some of the injections!

Praying for you Kass! My sister tried to get pregnant for years and tried IUI for a while before switching to IVF. She had her rainbow baby almost a year and a half ago! She's healthy and my sister and our family are so grateful. We love you Kass! Your babies are waiting and love you. I know Heavenly Father is watching over them and they can't wait to come to such a beautiful and amazing mama such as you. We love you! 💕
Kass, I know this has been really tough few years for you trying to get pregnant at all, but I just wanted to let you know that my parents did IVF and that’s the reason me and my brother are here and the fact that you are putting so much work into starting a family and birthing a child just makes your child Feel so loved when they really think about it and it just makes me so like in aw when my parents told me about this, and I know that your child will feel so loved!

Thank you for sharing your story. You are so strong to be this vulnerable on such a difficult topic that affects so many people.
June will be my husband and I's 2-year mark of dealing with infertility. I also have an anovulatory disorder and hypothyroidism. It has definitely taken a toll on us mentally. We will be going through this exact process at the end of the year. It is so unbelievably expensive for not only the office visits but the medications. I can't imagine how it would feel to be able to pay upfront for this. It will all be worth it, but we will be dealing with the payments and debt for the perceivable future. We could not be more excited to start our IVF journey and can't wait for our turn.
