Nitheesh Kumar is one of the co-founder and directors at Vasitars Private Limited and Prajjawala Systems and Solutions Private Limited. He is a mechanical engineering graduate from IIT Bhubaneswar batch of 2019. He was one of the finalists of the Indian Innovation Growth Programme 2017.
Vasitars is a technology-based startup founded by students and faculty members of IIT Bhubaneswar, incorporated in India in the year 2017 with a target to provide engineered composite repair, rehabilitation and maintenance solutions to damaged pipelines/piping systems through its in-house patent registered indigenous technology. Vasitars has raised around INR 4.5 Cr. till date and is currently in its early commercialization phase serving major oil & gas PSUs in India. Vasitars was awarded the ‘Startup of the Year 2020’ by Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI).
