I loved this guitar solo. It put a smile on my face! I'm new to learning to play country western. I particularly want to kearn to play 50s and 60s country and rockabilly guitar. I mentioned in a comment on one ofbyour other videos that I love the Leon Rhodes (spelling???) Billie Bird stuff with Ernest Tubb and the Texas Trupadeurs. I'd love to learn the lead parts to "Thanks A lot.". I love all the Grady Martin and Hank Garland, Paul Yandell stuff. I love Johnny Horton's rockabilly years with Grady Martin playing these really tough sounding licks. Anyway, any lessons with stuff like that I would love! Either way, I love what you do and I am so grateful for your channel!
Thanks so much for both of your comments and for enjoying the channel! I'll be happy to release some stuff like you are talking about. Groovy pickers for sure.
Another good video! Nice rehearsal space! Cool Gene T! I enjoy the lessons, but I also like to just sit back and listen sometimes too. Keep posting, and I'll keep listening!
you keep puttin' 'em up, I'll keep trying to learn 'em...
You got it my friend. Just recorded a blues lead guitar one like this one that I'll put out tonight or tomorrow.
That’s Honky Tonk Gold. Thanks Scott. Gene was tripping me out a little but I got through it. Great lesson. Thanks
Rock on! Yeah, Gene belongs in a country video. lol
@@groovydjs he belongs in all videos. 🤘
I love the way you break it down Scott! Thanks brother!
My pleasure! I'm glad that you like the way I do things. I sometimes wonder if folks really "Get it" when I go through things.
Great video again, even better teacher. Get-R-Done

Another banger video. As a suggestion it would be pretty awesome to make a video about some dirty slide riffs and licks.
Great suggestion!
Oh boy! Does it ticke my pickle! Fabulous, Scott! Thanks very much!
Thanks my man. Gotta take care of that pickle. lol
Love it. Thanks a lot
Thank you too!

I'll keep on going on my end. Many thanks.
Scott, teach us that steel guitar stuff you do on your strat. Please!
Nice little ditty. I wish I could figure out the chord progression along with it
Great job Scott. 👍 Are you in a band? Where do you get your backing tracks?
Many thanks! Yes, I'm in a classic rock band. The tracks are actually stock tracks built into a little Fender G-dec amplifier (country version).

Gene just wanted a TASTE of country music.
