So they gotta go full rebuild, and because they gave up so many picks they haven’t had a lot of young talent. So it’s gonna take even long to build the team up. Because you cant have only a bunch of free agents because that gets expensive. It’s gonna take a bit for this team to get young definite pieces.

The main reason this one failed was because of that massive contract we signed him to before he took a snap for us. There is at least 5-7 "Good QBs" in this draft with 3 going in Top 5 or so and i dont think Caleb will be good, so yall dont have to worry about him being left to draft. Steelers are the best fit. Stable, long term head coach who's system closely resembles what Wilson had in Seattle. A run first ball control offense along with a great defense. Last season the Steelers QB's combined for a whopping 9 TD passes and STILL MADE THE PLAYOFFS.!!!! Russ had 26 in Denver. If the Steelers could get that they could probably win the Super Bowl.

I think the Watson trade is worse. Grabbing a guy with insane baggage and a year off only for him to be rusty and worse than Baker. Russ was an elite QB and no one could have really seen him fall off that much. Still horrible trade and wasted money by extending him before he played there.

Mac Jones is a solid pick for Denver’s next QB. I agree that they need to go for somebody cheap with something to prove. A little more challenging when you don’t even have a second round pick to leverage.
I made the argument in a video the other day that they should go for Zach Wilson. After whiffing on their high risk, high reward move for Russ, a low risk, high reward move for Zach Wilson could be the move for Broncos GM George Patton.

Mike you completely forget about moves that Denver can do by way of cuts, restructures, and the increase in the cap. If done right Denver could actually get as high as $60 million under the cap and still keep the core of the team.
