I hope they go for all new trains. Milled Aluminum can be brittle and prone to cracking. Intamin’s trains were make of stainless steel and safety needs to come first when launching people more than 100 mph and up two 400+ foot towers.
The height affects the heartline. Intamin trains were lower than Zamperlas, you sat further down which made their Heartline lower. They didn’t change the track profile, but had raised seats increasing the heartline.
I really wonder if they'd bite the bullet and just buy some intamin trains for it if it ever comes down to that. I know they turned down Intamin when it came to trackwork since their proposal meant removing Iron Dragon, but I can't imagine them being against buying just the trains.
@@namevone i wish that wasnt the case, sure dragsters trains weren't as comfortable as tt2s, but they were still some of the most comfortable and open trains ive been on
They would need to switch out the brakes, drive tires, and LSM for this to work I don’t think Cedar Point would want to Frankenstein this coaster even more.
@CCA_ would Intamin not be able to just modify their trains? It's not uncommon for manufacturers to make trains to work on coasters built by other manufacturers
I think the new trains will eliminate some of the whip on the top hat, but like you said will probably make the ride smoother. Really just a matter of which bullet they would rather take, rough ride or smooth ride without the snap
This reminds me of intamin swing launch coasters where the riders sit far from the track and the lack of toe on the wheel carriers caused so much multiaxial random vibration the rides required constant repairs to trains, wheel carriers, track, and structure. Aluminum is a bad ingredient to add to that recipe.

But in this case I would argue it leads to a better ride experience, no? It could effect the shaking on launch more negatively but what else?
did you say they're getting rid of that bleacher seating? say it aint so. I love sitting there
IMO if TT2 has more and extended downtime in 2025 then it wouldn't shock me if they pull the plug on it all together!
I agree with that forsure
i agree with it, but theyeve poured too much money into it to do that
I agree, Cedar fair management has always been intolerant for troublesome rides .

bro what if they were like old dragster trains.
@@SpeedZone420 If this were to happen I think they'd end up being like the Velocicoaster/Pantheon style trains

also I think Siren's Curse is our consolation prize
Testing!!

Hopefully they can get the issues worked out and it runs in 2025
Tear it down lol
rage bait
If this year is a bust management will pull the plug on the ride..They aren't going to dump more money into it
I agree with that! Scary to think it could be gone like that
More likely they let Intamin try to do something with it
Sirens Curse is lame. Built for a regular terrible Six Flags park. Not Cedar Point.
Thank you , the color scheme is so bad too
It was actually built for Energylandia before being cancelled then sent to mexico, then cp
@ cedar point is better than that , it doesn’t make sense why a flagship park like that wouldn’t get a better custom investment
