the end of a legend, knowing tyler1 was playing 20h a day always gave me a drive to climb .
In my opinion, for many years he has wanted to retire from the game but it bothered him that there were people saying he wasn't good enough. Now that he has already managed to be a challenger in all roles, he no longer feels the need to continue defending the game with which he always had a love-hate relationship.

hes literally only playing this game for the stream and youtube. and even then he's not into the game at all. stream times are down from 10+ hours to 4 hours a day. days of the week are down from 5 to 3 if you're lucky. he plays chess and thats what he wants to play, he's done with league

He even played off stream for months when he started getting stream sniped. Discovery of chess was the first time he ever stopped playing the game for more than a week, dude straight up went MIA spamming Chess without ever touching League for 2 months. He only started again recently to prevent rank decay and have a game to stream because he refuse to stream chess, he essentially quit League through addiction to chess.

I run Arams only after playing this game for over 10 years, every summoners rift game feels like a roll of the dice but winning doesn’t even feel good enough to justify it
I only get gold for the skin then I play exclusively ARAM, Summoner's Rift just ain't what it used to be

"I QUIT" Heh, what a lie that was. Last January I told my family that I was going to quit LoL for good and get a job! How naive I was. In February my dad left my mom now shes hardstuck solo-q! Then she started picking up a drinking habit! (Gragas main??? LOL!). There is a reason dad left her, it's because she is very abusive! (BOMBAAAA!). "The only time I have a drinking problem is when I spill it!" is one of her favorite voicelines.
In March I had already queued up 10k games since January! I play Annie now with bruiser items because I want to feel just like a little girl who's extra powerful and strong! It helps take my mind off of things when I'm stuck in losers-q!
Several months pass by and i kept getting mid-diffed by my mom (punches to the sternum). At this point she had started to look just like gragas weighing in at 400 lbs! (Who fed my laner? LOL!). Nice cosplay mom!
Sadly, my neighbors were listening in on our comms and decided to ask for a gank (Child Protective Services). They invaded our home and asked my mom what she was doing. "I QUIT", she said, after they had asked if she had a drinking problem.
This leads us up until now! I'm still grinding on ladder but it's maybe getting too hard... my mother threatens to run it down mid and int! (drive car over median on highway with me inside killing us both.) Maybe I should just uninstall life.exe (hehe xd)... no sign of my support (father) coming to help this season, GG go next! "I QUIT!"

Tyler1 variety is about to be unleashed and the world isn’t ready for him.
Tyer is completely right about the balance team. this item rework will do absolutely nothing because they have no clue what they're doing.
They had the right idea when they initially said they wanted take power away from items and put them back into the champions themselves but then they make like 15 new items that all have ridiculous passives that are out right broken. Most of the balancing woes this game has gone through is because of items. Anytime the game has entered a state of near perfect balancing it is because individual items were at their weakest.
I would rather every role be overpowered than just tanks and assassins. Playing the game as a mage in its current state is almost unplayable. You can get solod by tanks and bruisers while doing 0 damage to them. I’m happy to see if the new season fixes that. These past 2 seasons have been the most unfun seasons this game has ever had. I’ve been so close to quitting and I’ve been playing since season 1

adhd = intense hyperfocus on some things for hours days weeks months versus hard to focus on other things at all sometimes (eg playing chess for 10 hours and getting hungry but not feeling any real motivation to go and make food)
the underlying neurological mechanism behind this is people with adhd reuptake dopamine much faster than neurotypical people and so they are “dopamine starved” and when something gives even a bit of dopamine, long term, like chess or league or surfing or math or philosophy all shit I’ve hyper focused for months at a time, they will STICK with it because it’s so rare to find shit that does give consistent dopamine
I was the most addicted to this game. I quit the game 3 months ago, the best decision I've ever made. No more headaches, no more estress. Focusing on other games, chilling. I totally get what he's saying. I can go back to test new season, yes. But still, don't think game would be saved, at least not for now.

The devs (parents) keep RUINING MY GAME (forcing me to stop playing league and get serious help). They keep releasing BROKEN CHAMPS (social workers physically restraining me) and I’m gonna stop playing (jump out the asylum window)! Unfortunately they’re using mordekaiser R (locks on doors and windows) to hold me back, guess I’ll have to keep queuing (reeeing in my straight jacket)! DOPA DOWN!

I quit league a few months ago, and it's genuinely great. Being happy and relaxed after every gaming session is so much better than the stress and tilt. League is broken, the devs are insane and nothing will change. As T1 says, new season, same shit. Every year people think it'll change. But it won't. Griefing will go unpunished while swearing results in a ban, more and more overloaded champs will come out while old champions rot, making it basically inting to play them they're so outdated. Riot don't care.
We had the exact same complaints in season 5 dude. Its been going on for 8 years lmfao. I quit the game 3 years ago and I haven't missed it at all. I started playing in season 3 and all the magic that made season 3 and 4 good just died.
