The dutch edition of Vilin san is now available, Sprookjesbos meaning Fairytales forest. I have just picked up my copy at my local bookstore (in the Netherlands). The book has 80 pages instead of 40 pages. We don't get more images than the croatian edition. The book is printed for the most part single sided, 68 pages. Only 12 pages are printed double sided, because there are 6 2-page spread images in the book. The book is printed on the same paper as Dromenvanger (meaning Dreamcatcher), cream color and is thicker paper than Vilin san.
Thanks for detailing the differences in these two versions. I found this treasure of a coloring book (the original Croatian version) on Etsy for $10 US. This wasn't including shipping and handling, but that was pretty fair at $8.99 US due to it being in South Korea. I'm absolutely stunned at the detail and beauty of each page, and have decided that I'll only use my Polychromos in it.

I bought Dromenvanger based on this video & it’s availability. It’s a wonderful book. Has top quality, thicker cream color paper. However being mainly a Prismacolor girl I’m disappointed by how by colors are laying down. They actually look waxy or cloudy. Has anyone else experienced this? So I’m once again on the hunt for the elusive Zemlja Snova hoping that the whiter thinner paper will give better Prismacolor results. Dromenvanger will be set aside for mixed media pages.
I'm really sorry you're having that experience. I've not had a problem with Prismas on the paper used by this publisher, I wonder what's going on, have you tried other pencils? I hope you have more success with other mediums. We run group orders in my FB group but at the moment those are very slow going due to most people already having copies of Zemlja Snova and Vilin San now. If a new book is published then you'd be able to get copies of all of them at once through a group order so do join my group so you're the first to know of any developments. :)

You're very welcome. Sadly, it looks like Book Depository are very unlikely to get copies. I've been in touch with the publisher and they've told me they don't deliver stock to them. Two Dutch sites do sell the book but it's currently out of stock due to being so popular and therefore a new print run is being done currently, they will have more stock in a few weeks and they offer very reasonable shipping rates internationally so Bol.com or BBNC are the best places to look if you're wanting copies.

I was mentioning the Dutch editions of Maria's books rather than the Swedish but yes the paper is pretty similar and very lovely and thick. I'm not sure if Amazon will be getting stock for Dromenvanger, I heard from the publisher today and they said that they don't deliver to Book Depository or Amazon so we're not sure what's going on with why pre-orders have been possible. If you're wanting a copy then either of these Dutch sites offer very reasonable shipping internationally and can be translated using Google Chrome and they both currently have stock. They did not inform that they can not deliver but unfortunately they never do that in advance :-(. Love your comparisons! I was wondering what this book was going to look like inside. The Zemlja Snova copy that I received was in bad shape with glue oozing from the binding onto quite a number of pages... pages crimped then sewn in the binding in that crimped position. Then the seller mailed it to me in an envelope lol. It was backed by Amazon but... I was very disappointed. So I ordered this one in early August once hearing about it. I hope I will get it. I haven't heard anything that I won't. Fingers crossed. OH, I went onto the Dutch publisher's website but my impression was that it couldn't be shipped to me here in USA.

Yay!! I got good news today from Book Depository. My Dromenvanger was shipped today! I ordered it Aug 8. I also did order Droomreis from Bol.com. Was time consuming since I don't have Chrome so had to translate it piece by piece on google translate ... but the price was great and the shipping nearly free. Thank you for turning me onto them.
