This one is a great signature scent. Many compliments from this one.
I think this fragerance is very overlooked by the mainstream-buyer because, let's be honest, the brand name Burberry isn't that "cool" anymore like it was in the early and mid 2000s when everybody was wearing that square-scarf or a trench-coat from Burberry.
Good for us so we can get this parfume for a very cheap price 😉 It smells amazing, warm, masculine and "expensive" if you know what i mean..
I remember the test-version from a store i sprayed a few years ago on my skin that was VERY powerful and very long lasting. Almost penetrating.
Todays version of this parfume is by far not as strong as the one i mentioned but it's still ok for it's price. Last about 6 -7 hours.
It reminds me a little bit on Hermes Equipage and Terre d' Hermes.
I remember this fragrance from my school days when my friend used to wear it always and it had a very sweet and strong scent to it, perfect for summer.. like you said it smelled "expensive" ..one time we were playing basketball and the very same friend was sitting on the bench with some girls and his Burberry perfume filled up the entire court and it wasn't even indoors lol.. maybe he sprayed himself a little too much which he usually did, but you are right in saying that this fragrance was a lot stronger back then.. at least that's how I remember it.. several years ago I tried different Burberry fragrances(amongst them was Burberry London thinking that was what it was called) and ended up getting the wrong bottle every time. That's how much I liked it and wanted it but had no luck since I had forgotten the name and what the bottle looked like.. I swear my friend said it was called Burberry London.. did they change it around and give that name to another fragrance? The one wrapped in the square/tartan pattern cloth is called Burberry London now? Anyway I finally got the correct one myself after finding it a decade later in a retailer I worked at and somehow the bottle looked familiar to me so I bought one and it was the right one! lucky for me I just stumbled upon it while working and it was in the clearance section too plus an additional employee discount on top of that lol.. it was just so hard to find lol.. even today I can't find it in perfume stores anywhere so you can imagine how lucky I was to come across it at work like that.. now that I know what it looks like I can at least get them online.. they call it Burberry for men or Burberry classics I think.. and you're right it's not as strong nor long lasting as I remember it to be back then.. why do you think that is?
I remember buying this regularly from 2004 - 2007 and then I was introduced to 212 Men…still love both of them…they are amazing.

Burberry Classic for Man and Tommy for Men are my two most favourite everyday frags. Underrated as hell, both of them.

Oldest version (1995) has 5-6 hours longevity. It’s definitely similar to the current version but longevity is much better than today

As someone who really enjoys warm spicy scents, would I enjoy this one? I saw a 100ml bottle at a discounter, but I am hesitant because 100ml is a big commitment.

No. You wouldn't. This scent is the opposite of warm and spicy. It's crisp and fresh.
Joy Amin! Love the channel and tour reviews! Not sure if this one has been reformulated since the original release, but i bought a bottle last year and it was a lot more "herbal/medicinal" on my skin than it was in previous purchases. Does this one develop as herbal on you?

Bro I checked the batch code it says 9197 means it's 16 July 2009 made. But I got it June this year. Am so shocked to see the date. Smell doesn't last long. Yes initial projection is good but max 2 to 3 hrs all gone. Edt. And the group now is under coty. The ownership change happened 2 or 3 years ago I guess. I asked seller he said it's 2019 batch and batch codes get changed every 10 years and mine can be reformulated version and asked me not to worry and they still say it's genuine not fake and they said as long as I store in dark cool place no such thing as expiry date for perfume it ages like fine wine. Is that true? I paid 25 usd for this. 100ml. Kindly advise.
