I think I'm the first one (I've checked widely) to make the observation that this song is about her brother Raman Dlamini's alleged assault on Amala (aka Doja Cat) in her apartment described by her mother, which led her mother to apply for a restraining order against her son. Doja hasn't yet explained the background for the song, but the lyrics support this hypothesis ("I told the concierge to change the lock"..., "you wouldn't treat your mama like that in in a black house" (i.e. both her and her brother are half white)? "... Admit you hate seeing me with all the plaques now... Security around the clock you better back down... That's what you get for leaving bitches in the background"). Thoughts? Anyway, I love this song and Doja. She keeps her thoughts to herself and let's her fans interpret her songs however they want.
