Really it all depends on your budget, you can find a used gen3 pvs7 for 1500 or less, used gen3 pvs14 for 1700-2k, new gen2+ for 2500 or the J31 for 4k. The real difference between these options would be depth perception, I don’t consider any of these options (cheap) or budget friendly, these options being the most cost effective way to get into the game. I would say to stay away from digital night vision vs analog. The difference is night and day, pun intended.

Are you talking using these to actively hunt or just moving around while hunting?

@@IowaNVGuy Thank you for the input. I may opted low end duals over high spec mono for better depth perception.
