My god what a blessing it is you made this video. I spent more time on trying to fix one bulb than doing an engine swap. In the end I can't seem to get the socket to work anymore. I'm just going to rip out some lights on wires from the controls on my old Corolla and wire to the radio ignition wire and drill a hold on top down. What a bizarre bulb setup. Thanks again for your video.
Hello from Ohio. Just changed them on my daughters 2007 Corolla. That was tough but I got it. I bought two gray base bulbs from my local Toyota dealer. I agree, that climate control assembly would not come out!
Thanks! Where did you get the bulbs and what number are they. There is a bulb in the shifter selector area that goes out too. I wonder if the bulbs are the same?
I went through the hassle of getting the lightbulb on there, but came to find out that the problem is not the bulb because it still won’t turn on. Does anyone have any advice besides taking it to the shop?
I just went thru the hassle for 2 hours and it worked but both went out together after a few hours. I'm thinking it's a fuse now. But which does anyone know?
Cambiar eso es un dolor de cabeza, la pieza blanca no se puede remover😅🤣, y cuando logre quitar los bonbillos esos, mejor coloque unos cables para cambiar desde adelante

guys I figured it out all I did was grab the smallest pair of needle nose pliers I had and put it in between the 2 little holes and just twisted it

The light bulb number was 9001111050 . Not sure if it’s the same as the shifter I haven’t dug into that.
