Absolutley LOVE your topics. This is the first video from you i have seen and it has more detailed info than the other hundred I have watched or the books I have read. But wont the density of the substrate be primarily effected by the density of whatever material is being used? It seems to me that a more accurate measurement would be the 'porosity' of the substrate. But you have given me much better than a starting point and your video answered several questions that i have not been able to get answered. Please get a better translation service and get rid of the computer voice. I've done videos for work before, ill narrate them for you! Seriously.
I used to have a channel in Russian. Then I removed Russian videos from it and posted English ones. But UA-cam didn't recommend these videos and no one saw them. That's why I made a new channel. I have 20 videos already made, which I will post once a week.
I have already thought about doing translations using gpt chat, I think it will be better than google translate. However, I do not plan to remake already made videos.
Hi im from indian Im growing oyster mushroom from 2 years I saw your vedios its very informative I want see vedio of bag filling machine will you help me with that
What kind of bag filling machines do you mean? The ones that fill the substrate before sterilization or the ones that fill the bags after pasteurization?
@@indreshshivu3338 search on youtube in search "Пресс для грибных блоков", I found several videos where there are explanations, and you can turn on subtitles ua-cam.com/video/wxZciETuP18/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/IQWOqB5LYIg/v-deo.html These are hydraulic presses. There are also screw presses, they work poorly with straw, and a little better with small particles of substrate, for example with sunflower husks. In Russian it would be "шнековый пресс для грибных блоков"
This is the substrate density in the state in which it is packed into bags. The substrate is generally not completely dry during production, as it is moistened before use. Only the raw materials used to make the substrate are dry before they are hydrated.
Your videos are so informative! Thank you
you are so welcome, it's very nice when growers write such comments, it inspires me to make new videos

0.5 kg per litre is the dry weight density or the damp weight?
