Mother and daughter will rest easy sleeping together, I don't think they should be separated. It's good for Shakina because she's still a baby who needs the closeness, and for Shaki because she loves mothering her lil girl, no reason to separate them there's room in the crib for both! 😎
I agree that they should be able to sleep together every night. If they were in the wild Shaki would huddle with her Daughter and other female offspring in the tree branches.
