Management targeted me for using a restroom. Forced me to take an hour lunch and told me I had to drive the vehicle off the clock to go to said restroom. I petitioned the local and replaced their yes man steward. I educate other members and with the help of these fine gentlemen that make these videos I put an end to a lot of myths that plagued my center for decades. They've been trying to fire me ever since. Currently on a working discharge for not maintaining my demonstrated level of performance from an ojs ride I was assisted on and prevented from using the 340 methods during. I look forward to embarrassing them at arbitration.
It's crazy what they pull ..I got discharged this year for 2 weeks ... first ever discipline in 18 years ..I took 2 timeouts by accident instead of 1 timeout and one paid break ..when I noticed I called an notified management immediately ,they changed it to paid break, I got fired for dishonesty next day saying I did that on purpose so I could file a 9-5 .they said I did it thinking somehow they would not notice. Mind you I didn't change anything just reported error to management..the stories never end of stuff they pull it's a constant battle that drains people for sure .
UPS is so disgusting with discipline that they would discharge your family if they could 🙄 I always said that if the company would work with and respect the union employees, they would more than double their profits.
Dealing with management is the easy part. Over the last year and a half I’ve received enough article 7 letters dealing with production to paper my bathroom walls. Explaining to the wife that “termination” doesn’t mean I’m fired causes more stress than it should.
I get people saying they fired me, I am layer off, you name it. I just ask did they take your badge and if you have some keys? If you still have you badge and can gain access to the building your still employed. This is just the company trying to trick you into not filling for your guarantee. If they told me I was told I was layed off Inwould go file for unemployment.
I appreciate you guys addressing my comment, it feels good to have your story heard. I do promote you channel & have gotten a few lower seniority drivers to follow. Thanks for all of you content, I know it's helped me personally in more ways than one. 👍

They’re giving discipline to drivers for not stopping when leaving the building now . I realized that this company target people they don’t like which is ridiculous.I heard from a senior feeder driver they try to get you out before your 15th year. If you make it past 15 years you’re one of the lucky ones .
In 1 Month I had 5 Discharge papers sent to me by every different carriers, because they wanted me not to grive one... 23-24 ive had 3 5c's and 5 total discharges, multiple article 37s including on a division manager, but i stood tall and thats what scares them the most so hopefully they move on and one of my supervisors actually has a brother from your hub,
If you are going to use a drone/UAV, Unmanned aerial Vehicle, and it is done so in furtherance of business 2 legal items need to be present 1)the business needs to have an operators certificate, or they can hire an outside agency that has one 2)the person who is manipulating the controls needs to have their FAA Part 107 certificate...in addition follow the rules of the airspace and their operators certificate @7:50 this is when the management should be paying out of their own pockets for these infractions also called TOXIC BOSSES” and stop hiding behind the corporate shield.@9:54 why doesn’t management get held accountable for involuntary manslaughter with local authorities?
Appreciate the input on drone use. Good points made. I have heard of a driver being locked up for involuntary manslaughter but not management. It sucks hearing these stories
I don't mean to nit pick but last thing I'd like to say, I wasn't burning my sick days. I had only used three sick days in a ten month period, July being the third resulting in the 5 day letter. The rest is what it is... Thanks again for providing the support that you do.
I myself have had eyes on me non stop. Since 2014 they still think I’m involved in a “T mobile” ring. I was hi off pain killers for 14 years and they still had nothing on me. I went through rehab and made it out. I been roughly 3 years sober. If they had nothing on me back then just imagine now 😂😂 i got my life together Now. I see them and now invite them to lunch 😂😂
I was writen up for being late today lucky enough I talked it down to a verbal doc talk because they said I was late. I was on time at the pcm and there for my 20 year service of the company but I didn't punch into the board and they said I was tardy because of that
that story about the driver killing someone is probably baloney. just think about supervisors that say "there are 340 methods"? they lie so easily. would a supervisor really refrain from telling a tall story to justify their overzealous discipline?

In the Wyoming MI.building most drivers skip lunch daily,dont follow methods and never get fired .Some centers are more lax.

I had an old center manager tell me that UPS takes stallions and turns them into donkeys. That's what the management culture does here.

I don't want to see anyone get terminated. But I also don't want to someone get killed on the road. It's important we work safe.
