Art Deco magnificence! The first car I remember my dad having was an MG SA, a 1938, also in black. I remember the gearbox used to get very hot and would heat up the cabin. It also had the wonderful JackAll built in hydraulic jacks. He sold it for pennies in 1963 and replaced it with a Ford Fairlane.
What a beauty! Straight six with SUs and the elegant style of the late thirties. Hoping someone will ask Ramsport to work on a WA. That would be nice to see!
One family owned from new! Man imagine the story of this vehicle in the families life since purchase, it lived through the war, know doubt garaged perhaps...? Then awakened post-war and amazingly the family resisted the need to trade it in, in the late 40s/50s to become a much loved family heirloom. Stunning car.
With all of our vehicles, we are at first a restoration and repair facility, at times it's very difficult to capture everything and avoid delay of works, but this is something we are trying to be more mindful of, pleased you enjoyed the areas of the vehicle we managed to show off, there is a second video now live on this vehicle, ''MG SA - Transmission overhaul road test | Ramsport''. Be sure to check take a look.
That is so beautiful! Thank you.
Our pleasure!

Stunning car
It really is, with a impressive history to match
Very nice car MG's attempt to move into the luxury market. It was a good car but dident sell that well so this is a great survivor.
Its got a fantastic story to tell also, one family owned. Its just returned to the workshop to have the noisy second gear addressed.
That must be quite rare car and it looks great
