Nice score! I'm in the middle of restoring a Rockwell Model 9 Contractor saw from the mid '80's I have everything torn down and cleaned up and have been painting the cabinet, but am waiting on a spring washer that goes between the bearing and arbor housing before I can begin reassembly. Fortunately it's the same washer found on Unisaws so it's still readily available, but it said it may be 8 days before it arrives. Oh well, I should have the cleaning and painting all done by then. I'd love to find a vintage cabinet saw but it seems like all the ones around me are either out of my price range or, if they are in my price range they're 3 phase which I'd need to get a converter to run. All that being said, I recently picked up and restored a big all cast iron mid 1950's DeWalt radial arm saw and I'm finding I use it much more than my table saw and that it is capable of doing much more than my table saw.
Thank you for filming this. I recently bought one of these, and I’m in the process of restoring it. Mine is a Houdaille model as well, built in 1979. Is yours three phase too?
Well done👍
Awesome! Very jealous of your setup. haha.
