I’ve watched quite a few lovely interviews here but this may just have been my most favourite so far. Projects like Pinjra are what I look for when looking for something to watch…ones where real issues are depicted as they should be, not exaggerated or painted in any sorta light. Even just getting people talking is a success in itself as far too much has gone unspoken about and its about time we have such conversations in our livingrooms/ over dinner tables. I wish I had started watching our dramas much sooner than I did but also so glad to have such projects

I'm studying psychology, and trust me i cry when i watch this drama. Every character is in a state of war... and in recent episode abeer said "is ghar mein sab akele hain", that really hit me hard. I mean, koi bhi rude paida nahi hota, usko halaat rude bana dete hn. Kaash kuch aesa ho keh log therapist ke pass jana important smjhein or apnay dimagh ke conflicts ko solve krein, kyunke jab tuk unka dimagh sukoon mein nahi hoga woh ksi or ko sukoon nahi deskty.

Every episode is awareness, wish all parents watch it. But I noticed majority are ignoring to watch it out of guilt. I recommended it to many parents-friends all refused to even watch it. Which was quite a surprise and I realised pakistani adults don't want to face reality to correct themselves
I’m so grateful for this topic it hits home with me and finally there is a Pakistani drama that is relatable to parents and children alike. I wish this tv show can be available with subtitles in English or dubbed in English so I can watch it with my daughter. We are loving it my sister in New Jersey told me to watch it and I love it here in Chicago it is amazing storyline. I told my husband as well that we have to watch it because it is bringing awareness.

My father is in real same same exactly as it his character is this father character but Al hamd o lillah we all brothers sister has well settled in life but when I'm watching this drama I remember each everyone day of my life.
Very good drama. I would really want that these children should speak in Urdu. That’s the only negative comment I would suggest. I think the youngest one is not too comfortable speaking in Urdu.
Two boys who lost their mother at birth and seven years of age, living without hugs, love and affection . Father remarried, but busy in achieving his financial ambitions. He doesn't spend much time with the kids. No one ever attends their ptm. They are depressed and lost, especially the younger one whose teachers point out that he doesn't have a mother and he hates that. His grades are going down. Unfortunately no female, maternal character is in their lives, except for a maternal grandmother living in another city. There should be a play on such lonely and loveless kids too.
