my dad had a good bit of repect for ole hope. and i think it was because he went to some austere places just to bring a smile to a young man's face who likely had little to smile about. my dad was in the pacific from 43 till the beginning of 45 i think. i can't remember if he ever got to see hope or even a uso show of any kind. but any way i sure do appreciate what he and those who also followed suit along with the U S O over all these years. i benefitted from their generosity and love of america's service people. any way thanks for postin this.
