My first bus was a 05 1st gen version rode it 8 years many memories on it then moved and switched routes then the bus became a spare 2 years later and sometimes we still rode it which I loved moved houses but the same childhood bus pulls up sadly it’s getting worn sounds rough at times it’s still in service tho I still see it being used
Bluebird electric doors have a different longer release knob than the air, and weren’t available back in ‘06 unless they retrofitted one for whatever reason

This is the same bus that I tried to start on July 12, though it failed to start after some cranking.

1 is a 2005. They had two of those. All of those (and most Ohio buses in general) have air-operated doors.
