When you were walking around the punk part and through that area of record sellers, that band that was playing live in the background, they sounded awesome. The Obi strip thing is just cool cos it’s part of the aesthetic of Japanese releases. But obi or not, 1100 pesos for a KEEL record is actually pretty funny. Like who is paying that for KEEL?!?! That’s $100 AUD. Insane! I paid like $3 for each copy of my KEEL records in the USA from Vinyl Frontier in Illinois and one of them was from Jerry’s Records in Pittsburgh. So yeah, $100 is pretty funny.
They're so unrealistic. They think because they have something rare (I guess), that they can get a fortune for it. I asked him what his best price was, he said $1000. I'm probably the only person at El Chopo that wants that album, and I wouldn't even pay half of that.
@@danbowskimexico I’ll be in the USA in May and will be hitting up Amoeba and places like that, if I see those KEEL records cheap in their bargain bin section, I’ll buy them for you. 👍🏻
@@danbowskimexico good to know! I’ll keep you posted on what I find. There’s tons of that genre of metal for cheap in Hollywood. It’s everywhere it seems.
Yeah, don't even think about it. I have a ton of little knick-knacks, and all the records / CDs / DVDs, books, a bunch of shirts, etc, but nothing that I spent any real amount of money on.
Yeah, I don't see what the problem is. I've had this argument countless times with various people, and I don't know how they can tell somebody they're not allowed to take photos or videos on a public street.
My next El Chopo request is to do a how to shop at El Chopo. Tell us information like how to tell good quality items from bad. How to bargain. Which vendors are friendly and which are not. Stuff like that. Thank You.
Hmmm, not a bad idea, but I don't know if I'm knowledgeable enough to do that. I know some of the friendly vendors for sure (which are many, despite the occasional dickheads in my videos)
Nice to have you in the city
Bien mamon el de los muñecos de kiss
El Tiangüis del Chopo es mi segunda casa !!! 🇲🇽🤟🏾
I like when you upload videos from El chopo, I hope one day I can see you there ...

Ah, that would be great! But it's only that one that I'm looking for (already have the other two)

Saludos Dan , excelente video del chopo ,ya quiero ir 😅
Most “EN VIVO” open from the top I just recently finally found one that opens from the sides which is more scarce
Ah, good info! I'm gonna try to remember to check next time I'm there.
I haven't collected KISS stuff outside of albums in decades! Probably too expensive a hobby to start up again now! 😆

Ha, I think even an anti-swastika is a bad look.
What happened to the guy following you at the end???????
Who was following me?

@@danbowskimexico You should go to the organizers' stand and complain.
Ha, I don't think they would be very open to complaints, especially from a foreigner. And I didn't even know such a place existed!
