Thank you man, your simplicity really inspired me today. Video is very genuine and you have a really good mood. Appreciate the fact you made my day start the best way possible.
Thank you for the video. It is much appreciated. I am real close to purchasing a refurbished 2000XL, but most people that I speak with tell me to stick to the newer MPC's, for many reasons, including the fact that it's not easy to connect to a DAW and it's a load of problems. I am a total beginner, but it seems that you went from your 2000XL to your DAW easily. Did I see that correctly? Whatever thoughts or advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Blessings!
Thanks man! I simply record My MPC into my Daw.. put it on the right BPM and make "the loop" work... Then I start building the song from there... The newer MPC's are awesome in their own right .. But man.. That 2000XL has got a lot of character :) :) Thanks for checking out our video.. more to come soon bro!
I never seen some one make it one track into cubase lol 😆 could have recorded track by track if you didn't have 8 outs.. also I see why because it was just a rough beat to be finished in the DAW great video
Yeah.. Recording it all on one track is kind of a workaround for not having 8 outputs (or inputs on my focusrite for that matter haha) but it works great to be honest.. :) Thanks for checking out this video.. we are planning on doing one every month ! 1!
If you haven't seen that before you haven't been around. People been doing one stereo track into whatever they recording into forever. Not everyone separates there tracks for mixing and Drop Outs.
@@lordg3803 I understand that I been around since 1990 when I got my first numark 4 second sampler lol then when I could afford an MPC I bought the 2000 classic first month it was out.. but I always had 8 outs

Kwakmaaaaan!!
Thanks bro!!
👊
U used midi cables to track out the mpc?
No, on this one I just recorded the MPC's audio into the DAW..
There is an Episode where I use Midi to control a Boss DR202 with midi cables though!
Nice one, subbed. I have an AKAI S2000 that I got recently, but really curious about the MPC 2000XL for the pads.
p.s. love the final beat.
When you chopped up the break. What is the best method in extracting the single hits? with zone or just saving section to new samples?
I usually select the section, and make a new sound out of it..
@@RengaBeats What is the method to go to the next chop from the last end point to make that the new start point?
@@caltropmusic I think you mean Zone's(??) .. I don't really use it all that much, but I hear some people do awesome s**t with that!
Erg dope bro!
Dank dank!!
Thank you Zlatan Ibrahimovic
