MACROSTY PARK - FLOODS - LADY MARYS WALK - CRIEFF - SCOTLAND

After two days of amber warnings for heavy rain from the Met Office, the Turret Burn has flooded Lady Marys Walk, where it joins the River Earn.
The Glenturret Distillery uses water from the Turret Burn to make whisky. Its about 1km upstream from Macrosty Park.

Hello my friend, this is a really beautiful route, the river has a lot of flow, I hope the floods have not caused much damage. At some points you got very close to the shore, I was afraid that you would slip because everything was so wet. Thanks for sharing this walk with us 👍

I'm glad you like it. Its a very nice park. Local people always say hello, and always pick up after their dogs. I'm always very careful near water, so not much chance of slipping in. I would rather watch videos than watch the news these days.
