I would like to see the Michensen Morley experiment with the apparatus use in the vertical rotation instead of the horizontal. I think if they find a phase shift the result might point towards that the atmospheric electrical field is use by light to propagate. This electrical field is produced either in our atmosphere by the potential difference between +ve Ions in the ionosphere, and the -ve earth's potential , or by the potential difference between objects being suns planets moons galaxies excetra in space a vacuum (dielectric). You have it backwards. The earth moves because of the ether. If there is any movement of the earth relative to the ether, it is due to lag or hysteresis.

You have made the same mistake as Michelsen and Morley. You have assumed that the island is stationary relative to the ether. This is not the case. This is pretty dumb. Given how fast we're moving and how long we've been moving we would have come to a stop by now if the aether were both detectable and moving in opposition to the Earth. It makes much more sense if you consider the aether as integral to inertia and moving exactly as anything moves within it. If there were any relative motion to detect it would likely be some distance from the Earth (i.e. like a pressure wave in front of your hand moving through a pool.) Likewise you wouldn't see a difference in the propagation of light save for experiments of induced aether drag, like the Fizeau experiment.

You have made the same mistake as Michelsen and Morley. You have assumed that the island is stationary relative to the ether. This is not the case. Quite an assumption to think the ether moves in a uniform direction.
This is pretty dumb. Given how fast we're moving and how long we've been moving we would have come to a stop by now if the aether were both detectable and moving in opposition to the Earth. It makes much more sense if you consider the aether as integral to inertia and moving exactly as anything moves within it. If there were any relative motion to detect it would likely be some distance from the Earth (i.e. like a pressure wave in front of your hand moving through a pool.) Likewise you wouldn't see a difference in the propagation of light save for experiments of induced aether drag, like the Fizeau experiment.
