      Found an old video of you hanging off the TV mount. Pretty nice of you to include the diagram on how those arm mounts work. Keep up the good work.

    U don’t know how helpful this was. Thank u so much, I recently moved into a new house and the previous home owners left the surround sound system in the ceilings. I decided to figure out how to use it

    great how-to TT! Ive done many wall drops all over FLA back in the day.. working alone, I would use a string with weight , like a nut (if glow rods were not available) maybe you can do a part two called ' when a cross-member gets in the way!' follow-up vid :D Be Blessed

    Just wanted to thank you for your videos. They have been great. I've even fixed a few tv's ! I'm a cable installer and tend to come across broken tv's. Damn shame we're not able to come across replacement screens. For ones with cracked screens, what's best to do? Just strip them down of usable parts??

    • @TampaTec
      @TampaTec  4 роки тому

      Broken screen TVs sell boards on eBay or Amazon you'll get about $40 per board you'll make over $100.

      You can replace screens however not worth it unless it's your personal one and you love it and obviously for it's a rare TV

    How to do an install on a first floor with no ceiling or attic access?????

    • @TampaTec
      @TampaTec  2 роки тому +1

      Use Wire covers, or use basement space, wireless speakers, long drill bit by drilling through each wooden joists, hide wires under rug around baseboards.

    Great video, should you hear white noise what then?

    • @TampaTec
      @TampaTec  4 роки тому

      If you hear white noise lower amp volume but raise tv volume. Static can be from bad connections or interference from router or another device.

  • @turboflush

    Did you install radiant barrier? Did it make a difference?

    • @TampaTec
      @TampaTec  5 років тому +1

      My attic was 130f but now 95f, 🤔 should I make a video? Still waiting for my next electric bill, I hope to save money.

      So you installed?
      If not.. which company?
      If you can make a vid. Sure.
      Drop in temp might be due to the cooler days we have been having. ;)
      I am considering this for when I redoo the roof. Pull the decking and install this. The pitch of my roof makes it uncomfortable from in attic.

  • @anthonybouch9482

    So I got a question I got a 67 in hls - 6767 w DLP projector Austin TV. The image freezes and basically sometimes I get a distorted image sometimes I get no image at all. I read somewhere that the DMD board is the issue when the picture freezes up. Is that correct cuz this is a super nice set so I went ahead and ordered it. I ordered the board what is a usual repair cost because I paid the technician $50 to come look at it he swore that's the problem then he told me 90 obviously 50 go sword repair so I keep messaging him saying you know when I get the board and are you going to do it for $40 he hasn't responded. Does that sound about right?? Right before he left I made sure to ask him what's the repair cost he said I already gave him 50 so it should be $40 to spend 5 minutes diagnosing and getting $50 I really hope he didn't just tell me anyting
