one family headed to Disney's Droid Depot located at Disney's Galaxy's Edge!

I would build a Red Astromech droid with white outlines. Although I do wish they had more colors like Green, Yellow, Orange, & others for both droid units alike.

I would build an blue BB8. It looks really fun to drive around!
It is much easier to operate. Blue is a nice color.

The pricing seems pretty reasonable. I’m guessing this was at Disneyland LA, but is there a droid depot and Disneyworld Orlando?
This was at Orlando!
But both Disneyland in LA and Disney World in Orlando have a Droid Depot for droid building! 🤖
I heard they don't interact with each other outside galaxys edge, unless they have made some changes to them recently.
I’m not sure about any updates, but our droids interact with one another at home if both are on and nearby.
@@floofbean6653 hmmm very interesting. I know there is an update now where you can control them with your phone instead of the fisher price controller.

I’d make the r2d2 replica!
R unit definitely.
I'd want to make an R5-D4 like the one Owen wanted to buy but then it malfunctioned so they went with R2-D2. Turns out R5-D4 actually malfunctioned on purpose so that Owen and Luke would buy R2-D2 off the jawas instead. Later on R5-D4 had many adventures and eventually coming into the service of Peli Motto during the events of The Mandalorian. 🙂
Unfortunately it seems that in order to make R5-D4 you'd actually need the pre-built R2-D2 droid as that one already has the blue painted parts. Then the red-white head from the conveyor belt as well as the two red panels in front as well as some red stickers for the sides. It also sounded different from R2-D2 but apparently the Blue (Resistance) sound chip would be a great fit as it sounded a bit more droopy.
However, I would either have to order mine from Ebay or wait to see if Disneyland Paris will ever get a Droid Depot once they finish building their Galaxy's Edge section in 2023-2025. Flying over to the US from the Netherlands (Europe) just to build a droid would be a bit too expensive for me. Going to Disneyland Paris or buying the parts off Ebay might be more doable for me then. 😛
