Simple History holy shit simple history, I literally not even kidding just watched a video of yours before watching this one and here you are, loving you content!
I know right! I play COD2, 3, and World at War on my Xbox One using backwards compatibility. If anyone wants to play those games, hit me up. My gamertag is HellJumper5252 and I made a discord channel dedicated to those games. discord.gg/8xt85gm
Exactly. With the new COD: WWII game, let's make a push to remind everyone these exist. These were the best CODs by far. I hope there is a surge in buying these games again (Please Activision, major sale on Steam after reveal trailer? :D). The campaign will hold everyone's excitement and maybe a resurgence of multiplayer with a few PC mods? Would be cool. Plus hopefully this is where Sledgehammer is going to take their inspiration from, I love WaW but nothing beats the old.
I like World at War the most, but I still LOVE the classic ones. I hope they take inspiration from all of the WW2 Call of Duty games. Imagine if Sledgehammer were to remaster some of the maps from these games for multiplayer! I know which maps I'd choose.
I really dont understand what made it so bad, the graphics (on 360 and ps3) were great for the time, the combat is pretty well balanced with weapon classes very similar in style and each class appealing to what kind of player is playing. What made this so bad? This was the first cod game I actually finished the campaign on.
Steven Schoenfelder Im a Console/pc gamer, but this was also one of my first cods, but the first one I ever played was Cod4 which was brand new at the time on my friends ps3

''Two Rules, Rule one: you're not good to me dead'' ''Rule two: ehhhh, what difference does it make, you'll all probably end up dead anyway'' Huxley: ''Well that was sure inspiring.'' Dixon: '' You want inspiration private?'' ''Read a poem'' '' Sarge is a 10x soldier you'll ever be'' Dixon: '' Okay listen up!'' ''Today we are on a secret mission to get coffee and donuts, the problem is, the germans drank all the coffee and ate all the donuts.'' '' So now we gotta kick their asses. Huxley: ''Or we could just stay at the base and eat some of them nice french rolls they got.'' Ending: Guzzo: "I'm Guzzo!" "One rule, you're not good to me dead" Soldier: "What kind of pep talk was that?'' Huxley, You want inspiration Private?'' '' Read a poem.''
I remember it was Christmas Day 2006 when I unwrapped the paper from the box and saw the front cover of COD 3. I literally went straight into the campaign and completed it in 3 days. Miss those days.
When this starts playing near the end of the last mission while Germans are sending in Panthers and other armor and you have to destroy them with the PAK-40 and the Bazooka, man, what an glorious moment. One of the best parts in video game history.
Yeah then they all blow up and your air support arrives and you just have the best feeling in the world. Not a single moment in a COD campaign since has made me look like a Cheshire Cat as much as that moment.
Imagina eu cara, até hoje fico pensando em baixar um emulador no pc e jogar de novo pq esse jogo cara, so quem jogou sabe! Foi o primeiro jogo da segunda guerra que joguei no ps2 e o que mais gostei de todos!
I wish more WW2 games would be made. This song brings back so many memories of when I would play multiplayer and kick ass as a heavy assault or sniper. In a tank. Without doing the objective. And going on a killing spree of over 50 kills. Good times.
This brings back so many memories for me playing this in my original Xbox as I’m 29 and played this at 16. I’ve never missed being a kid until I heard this. Wow.
this was my first cod, loved it the most, beat the game in veteran in what less than 2 hours, like that was hard, i was one of the best players in the world, those times have passed, and i have always wanted to play this song in my band at school.. that never happened RIP MY LIFE!

Nowadays CoD's will never be like one of those years.. because graphics never make such good memories back. And to this game. Onlt hearing this music intro. Made me travel in a flashback of memories wich i know that unfortunately will never back.. and its awful to know that... but.. thats "evolution" miss so much the time i used to play games on my ps2 :')
COD 3 is the best out of all of them. I don't like all of the modern Call Of Duties. I much prefer the WW2 stuff! 1:35 is my favorite part of this track. But anyway, great music!
I think the only Modern Warfare I'd say was passable was the first one. The rest are just rinse and repeat games about white guys killing anything that ain't a white male in the universe.
If you're looking for people to play with on Xbox 360/Xbox One, hit me up on Discord. discord.gg/8xt85gm I made a Discord dedicated to the WW2 Call of Duty games.
well other cod like cod bo and cod bo 2 and cod ww and ww2 was really good cods and the second was in a moder war . i played the two and they bring us a good ost and history . so i belive we have to play them or see a gameplay after say this game sucks . but well this is one of the best anyway
My first call of duty and the one that got me hooked into WW2. Learnt so much from the game and so much from doing further research. CoD World At War is still my favorite of the series.
This is still one of the best Call of Duty themes in a video game that was during in the first or second of the final years of the Second World War in 1944 on the European front of the Second World War in a series about military/war. And either Call of Duty 3 or Final Fronts is what got me into the CoD series long before Black Ops II and other later of the Call of Duty games came out.
Greatest COD ever!! Sad that it didn't make to the top ten best WWII game. Still going for Brothers in Arms. Not only that, this is my very first video game that feature WWII and COD. Mind blown!
Gosh..... This theme...... I am crying. This theme along with the Corridor of Death are the ones that I freaking love so much. Perfect game. It was my first FPS game ever on my PS2! Out of 500 games that I have on PS2 this was my first EVER game for it. Since then I am in love with WW2 stuff and WW1 eventually. Nostalgia hits me every time I listen to this beast. In 1 week I will install my ps2 again. Guess which game I will play first....... The best CoD ever in my opinion(CoD 3)
I remember getting this when it first came out, and id never really properly played online before. after a few months of playing it i remember this moment where people in the lobby started singing this tune out, everyone who had a mic was singing it it was awesome like going into actual battle haha
10 or 9 years ago, when the people usually say "this is the worst call of duty " .Now everyone says "this is the best call of duty or I miss the old days' bytheway ,rip Joel Goldsmith
This game was my VERY first COD will ALWAYS be my favorite you really knew the characters by the end of the game which made having a favorite character die in the end really sad
I wonder what happened to the CoD 3 'Player Death' song bits I remember catching somewhere on the internet years ago.. Those little stingers after you died in a campaign were quite daunting, and even heartwrenching!
Anyone knows if the music that plays when you fight towards that house at the end of the St Lo mission is available? It also plays when you are defending that same house and IIRC plays in the very last mission as well.
Best theme ever for a military video game

a criminally underrated game. remember when people thought that this was the worst COD game?

I'm a console gamer too but it truly is a shame that Call of Duty 3 never made it onto PC.
I'll admit that the controls and weapon handling felt clunky compared to past games, but it still was a great game otherwise.

I cried tears of joy when I heard the second half of this song. It signified that my torture of beating this game on veteran was over.
The second half of this seared in my brain. Half good half bad.
The nostalgia is real with this game. Love it too much, good times.
Big boi nostalgia bro this was my first. I remember the guns and health was totally broken 😂
My first call of duty game....I still remember playing on the Wii not being able to pass the first mission.....
