your hair looks stunning 😍. It's so nice to have visitors from SA . We will have my daughter in laws father coming over Christmas and it's always nice to show them the black forest. It's also beautiful we're we live.i have never been to Denmark yet but it's on the bucket list,it looks so beautiful there.
I have been so busy myself crocheting so much for people. I will send pictures soon when I get a gap ,for the amigurumi worldtour. Love the pumpkins you made❤
@@ingridaspeling2874 thanks, Ingrid 😍 I've heard the black forest is beautiful! There's so many places in the world I hope to see 😊🌍
Such a great idea to use the Fruity Stipe yarn for pumpkins! I’ve made 3 pumpkins each for my sister and niece, and I’m finishing the third pumpkin for my other niece. I’ve gone pumpkin crazy! I love the Farm Fresh pumpkin from the Turtle Trunk Crochet. It just uses slip stitches and half double crochet. It’s so easy and the texture is fantastic! I’ve also made the Rustic Farmhouse pumpkin from MJ Off The Hook. Super easy and looks great. Have a great week!
@@kelleytortorice1283 that fruity stripes yarn is fantastic! So glad it's coming in handy for something cute ❤️
I will definitely have a look at the Turtle Trunk pattern, I've heard many people mention their patterns before.
Glad your weekend was good.
@@creative2716 it was amazing, even with all that sunshine and heat 🥵🌞😊
The pumpkins came out so cute. I was looking at the granny square pumpkin tutorial and thinking how cute they looked the other day ❤
I really enjoyed the granny stitch pumpkin, it's just the holes that's somewhat troublesome. But I'll probably end up ordering linen bags from Amazon just so that I can make more of them 😅😅

Good to see you today! It's my birthday, so I've taken off work and had brunch and went shopping with a friend. I was so glad to see your video pop up when I got home. Perfect day. 😊 Now, I plan to crochet the rest of the evening. I'm glad you had a good time with your friend. I hope to visit Denmark, especially Copenhagen one day. It looks beautiful!
@@robynmusto happy birthday, Robyn 🥳🥳🥳 I love birthdays, and your day sounds as if it was absolutely perfect ❤️
@@craftablyeverafter Thank you!
I love to make pumpkins, Have been doing them for years and years. Recently have included ghords, or long neck squash. Play with different yarn weights and hooks and therefore have different sizes. And yes MJ Designs has some lovely patterns. It seems to have been a couple years of Granny stitch items. Love the granny stitch pumpkins. Also look at Brianna K. She has some great patterns as well.
The granny stitch has certainly been very popular in recent years. So many cute projects out there. I've seen the patterns for different types of squash, and I really like the variety when they are displayed together.
It is so nice to have fun with your friends.love the pumpkins I am planning to make the granny square stitch pumpkin, but I will have to modify it because of the bag if not I will have to used pantyhose.have a great week.
Thanks, Shaundell 💕 If I owned pantyhose, I would probably have used them to stuff that pumpkin, but I will probably end up getting some linen bags from Amazon, as I do want to make a few more.
hello love all you made ❤❤
Thank you, Cheryl ❤
I'm so glad you had time with your friend 🥰 Your makes are cute, as always. I have bookmarked a lot of patterns from her - I want to try one of her cardigans. Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡
@@AntisocialAuntie it was such a good weekend! I'm not yet on cardigan making, but I've learnt never to say 'never'. Who knows what the future holds 😅
@@craftablyeverafter I prefer knit for wearables, but her crochet patterns are comfy looking and has me thinking about doing one. A cardigan is only a few steps from a shawl, do you never know 😁
Fiber spider has a little pumpkin that I like to make.
I'll be sure to go havr a look ❤️
Love your little pumpkins. I’m obsessed with a chunky crochet pumpkin from Camryns’s cute Creations. It is a free tutorial and pattern o you tube
I've seen that pumpkin on her channel, and I really think I should give it a go. it does look very cute!
Glad you had a fun, great weekend with hometown friends! If you have old pantyhose, you can cut them and use them to put your stuffing in. Or I just buy them at a local dollar store we have. Works perfect, 👍🏻
@@kathleenullrich I think the last time I wore pantyhose was 20 years ago 🤣🤣 But this now just forces me to try all sorts of different patterns ❤️
There’s my girl!! ❤ you have been amazing with the world tour. Feel zero guilt about not doing a ton, you have been busy living and that’s ok. I’m definitely in a crochet funk, so I totally understand. Sending you hugs as always! PS did poopy make it in your cart? 😜💓💩🐶
@@therumimillcrochet when she said 'poopy' and 'limited edition' in the same sentence, I was already busy checking out 🤣🤣🤣

Adorable little pumpkins! That floral square is one of my favorites so far!
Hello Mary 🌸 I enjoy this time of year, from the start of Autumn all the way to New Year!
Hi Cassandra, how wonderful to spend some time with your friend. You have been more productive than me, I have procrastinated alot this week. I love your pumpkins. I am falling seriously behind with all my cals at the moment. hoping to catch up a little this weekend. Take care. xx
Hi Cassandra 🤗 it’s always lovely visiting with friends! All your makes are gorgeous! I love the cinnamon stick idea! 🥰🧶🤩
Thanks, Litsa 🌷
I love your pumpkins, especially with that ribbon💕. So happy you got t spend time with old friends and what a treat it must have been.
It was definitely fun spending time with a friend from South Africa, and having her see how we live over here.
Love your makes!!❤😊
Thank you 🤗
Always lovely hanging out with you my friend! How nice to be able to spend some time with your friend ❤ always love your makes and look forward to every video 🥰🌸🫶🏻 x
Thanks, dear Jenni 🤗🤗
Hi Cassandra, all your projects are awesome! Love the updates on the Whimsical Stitches World Tour. So many great projects. Have a great week!!
Thanks, Julie Ann 💕 I absolutely love all the world tour projects, everyone is doing such a great job!
Saguaro = Sa-war-o. Always look forward to your videos. It is like talking with a friend.
@@Nadinecrochets wish they wrote it like that in the book 😅 So easy to pronounce it now 🤗
Hi Cassandra! That yarn is perfect for the pumpkins! I’ve been making Camryn’s Cute Creations chunky pumpkins & her tiny velvet pumpkins too. Elise Rose Crochet shared in her latest video MJs off the hook cable pumpkins. She posted a link for the pattern/video. 🎃 I hope you have a great week!
I've just watched Elise Rose Crochets' latest video last night. Such great projects!
Hi Cassandra. How lovely to see your smiling face! Even when you think you have not had time to crochet, you do! All the little bits count. Your Whimsical Stitches makes are very cute, and I love how your granny squares, in the fine yarns, are turning out. So pretty. Your pumpkins turned out so well. That yarn is perfect! I've made pumpkins in the past, but can't remember what patterns I used. I'm glad you got to spend some time with your friend. Making memories with friends, and sharing what makes you happy, is very important. Life is too busy and we must make time for fun things too. I'm still working on my Miffy Bunny. Hopefully I can get her done this week. Have a great week Cassandra. 🥰
Thank you, Mary Rose 🌸You're right, even if I only crochet a few rows a day, it all adds up. And crochet is a stress relief for me, so I'm not going to worry about how much or how little I get done. It must always remain something I enjoy doing 😊
I still need to complete both the dresses for my Miffy bunnies, but there's still a few weeks left 🐰
The orange wool was just made for pumpkins. I have not made a pumpkin before, but maybe now is the time to try as they seem a quick, easy and pretty make. Thank you for the caps and inspiration 🎃🧶❤️
Hi Andrea 🌼 You have to try making at least 1 pumpkin, they really are quite fun and relaxing, and there's so many great free patterns out there.
Excited to see your makes! I love how Nova made her eggs! I am going to follow her lead. I received a knew amigurumi book today and my new practice is immediately making something from it! Then I can put it on my shelf to collect dust. That is what I am working on today. Peace and love from Karen in Virginia Beach
@@KarenAnne1965 you mentioned the amigurumi book, which book did you get? That's a pretty good practice to make something from it straight away 😊

I made the princess today in number two yarn and want to make another with DK. Easy makes and different pattern writing style.
