Whenever a state needs to alter the facilities or properties of the Federal Government, they must get the Federal Government's permission to do so. Enginneers from the Federal Ministry of Works will also be on ground to ensure that the Federal property is properly handled. That the Federal Government granted Lagos State the rights/ permissions to alter its property does not mean that the Federal Government is funding the project. Like the Blue and Red Metro Lines which required the Federal Government permissions, the Federal Government is not contributing a dime to this project.
The facility belonged to the FG but Lagos State needed FG permissions to alter the facility. You need to understand the difference between when a project is FG backed and when it is actually funded by the FG. For example, the Blue Metro was FG backed because Lagos is using Federal lands, but the FG did not put a single dime in the project.
The Interchange Hubs at Marina and Mile 2 are both Lagos State Government/LAMATA and Agence Française de Développement(AFD) funded. THEY ARE NOT Federal Government projects.
@@moseslawal9801 FG backed does not mean FG funded. FG is not putting a dime in the project. They are only giving the government of Lagos State the permission to alter the road and other facilities around the road which actually belonged to the FG.
@@moseslawal9801 The same support was given by the FG towards the construction of the Blue Metro line even though the FG did not put a dime in the project. You cannot alter Federal properties without the FGs backing. That is what is happening.
Lagos state is building interchange there not federal government. What federal government is doing there is the repair of the sea wall. The sea is gradually destroying the barrier that stops the sea at that point,if left unchecked it will flood everything there and down town lagos. The interchange is different from the sea wall protection work which is federal government project..Thanks.
You hv a platform to spread information, why don't u research bfr spewing wrong information, whats the FG biz with BRT This is solely LAMATA project, they only need FG approval .

You obviously have a thing for going around with camera and recording equipment even though you clearly don't know what you are talking about. you've got to be among the worst examples of people on UA-cam who just don't have a clue what they are talking about. How difficult can it be to take a little time to read about the subject of your attempt at vlogging, understand it before going out with your recording equipment! If you do that, it will certainly save you from coming across so badly and so embarrassingly so uninformed. There are two projects ongoing at that site. One is the repair of the *Marina Shorelines* by the Federal Government and the construction of the *Marina Interchange* by the Lagos State Government. How could you not know this as a vlogger?! Sigh. Time to pack it in and find something else to do, Emmanuel.

The shore belong to federal government but the interchange belong to Lagos state government.
