Very neat. I didn't realize there were two species of Yellow-Rumped Warblers but it makes sense, the continent is so large that the birds can differentiate into separate species. It sounds a little like the Northern Flicker with the red- and yellow-shafted varieties.

Thanks. Just seen the Audobon in the book lately. Seen the Y-Rumped at sandy Hook, NRA here in jersey lately. Basicilly looking almost straight up a ways so can't see the yellow on the head but...

That’s awesome!! Oh my goodness! Maybe one day he will look at you straight on and you can see his yellow crown! This was the first time that I have ever seen one with so much yellow and so colorful!

@@photographyadventuresbygraciel I’ve seen & photographed them at eye level before. This is just my recent sighting on my last outing. The 2 outings before that were Red Breasted Robbin’s & Cedar Wax Wings. One a few days before the snow & the day of the snow feeding on those blueberries looking berries on the pine trees with some great captures. Oh, & some winter ducks & geese also. Ha ppl shooting.
