Everyone kept saying how I was your hero and how I positively affected your life, but you did that to me ten fold. You've inspired me to live the best life I can. You're family said green was your favorite color, so I wore green for you at your funeral. Save some treasure up in heaven for me! We miss you bud. Lets live our lives "Kicking Butt With Two T's" just like Braxton!

Nothing but respect man, this is literally what life is all about. We all wanna make hella money and do cool stuff but giving back to people will ALWAYS be the most rewarding thing we as humans can do. There’s a lot of youtubers who would get messages like this and just ignore it. It really shows how amazing of a person you are. Thank you for making him feel so special in a time of uncertainty.

He could have done anything, and to an adult, who would likely consider these elaborate vacations and big celebrations, it may feel like such a small wish; but to Braxton I'm sure it felt like the coolest adventure quest with his celebrity hero finding the greatest treasures.

I lost my son on December 2nd, 1992 due to cancer. He’d just turned 16 that August. The Make a Wish” foundation was sending 4 of us to Tahiti. I can’t begin to express in words how much this lifted spirits at such an uncertain time. Sadly he passed away just days before we were suppose to go. The Make A Wish foundation makes such a difference and fills the hearts of our little angels with joy and their dreams with reality. I urge everyone that can to donate please find in your hearts to do so. It’s amazing when you tell a child wish for whatever you want and it’s most often they choose nothing more than to spend a day with someone they admire looking for treasure. Thank you DALLMYD for posting this and taking the time to fulfill a child’s wish. My thoughts and prayers go out to Braxton’s family and all Families who’ve lost a loved one. God’s abundant blessings to all.

The fact that he chose you over anyone else, shows that he idolized you. You showed him that achieving your dreams is possible and I am sure that he treasured those moments that he got to spend with you for the rest of his life. I know that he will be waiting to hang out with you again on the other side. Hanging out with you was probably the best days of his life. I know that he treasured those days until the end. You are a great human being Jake! I hope you know that. Braxton is in a better place now. And I’m sure that he would want you to know that he is OK now. You our and forever will be his hero.

From our house hold to yours our condolences. Losing a battle with cancer at such a young age is devastating. He was such a strong kid and deserved to live but know that he's no longer here in person but he will always be here in spirit. Take time to greave. You must do this. Take it from someone who has sat there in your shoes(with my grandmother) and took care of and watched the deterioration and you just know that there's nothing you can do. I know that pain. I don't wish this upon anyone. I hope you can feel the love and support from the UA-cam community because that's what we are. A Community. We come together in times like these and support another. Braxton was a awesome little guy and he will truly be missed.

Hey jake, id just like to say, that as a Make-A-Wisher myself, that what you did for this young boy gave him the single most important and amazing memory that he ever could have asked for. Those moments mean so much and granted him a moment of a life time for him to cherish. I cant imagine the sobering humility you must be feeling that such an honor would be granted to you, but your selflessness to give your time, heart and energy to this boy and his family is truly beautiful. I commend you greatly for also not just taking the one wish for granted, but to take the time knowing how youd be close by, to stop and see him again was awesome. Cancer is a horrific monster but to see how he still recognized you and felt joy by your presence just shows how important you were to him.

I only realised years after having had cancer as a teen that make a wish was a thing. While I didn’t personally profit from it after I got to know the foundation I made sure to encourage friends of mine that were still in or just out of treatment to make a wish and I can tell you, those experiences were definite highlights for all the kids!
Thank you for granting Braxton his wish, I’m sure that’s as a memory he cherished a lot. Rest in peace buddy

For a short amount of time that day, you made his greatest wish come true, and you brought him so much happiness. People go so young and don't live Thier life out. it's sad to think at any moment you or a loved one can be here and the next moment you or a loved one could be running laps with God. As a mom, I can’t begin to imagine the suffering his parents have endured. My deepest sympathies to them. Granting Braxton’s wish had a bigger impact than just one day, it brought awareness to all the millions who watched of how severe the battle of childhood cancer truly is. The numbers are growing every year, we really need to find a cure.

My little girl lost her battle to brain cancer. She loved watching your videos. We spent her last months watching you together. Cancer is not fair! The death of anyone is incredibly sad. But when it’s a child, there are never words for the amount of grief that is felt.
