I am playing it right now actually and it's such a huge wasted potential, if they just focused more on important stuff and quality instead of quantity it could be an amazing game. Searching for treasure is such a bummer in this game, even when you have exploration difficulty set on the highest (can't remember the name) it still shows you practically everything on the map, it even shows you that it will be a piece of armor. I find a sewer key, find the sewer, find the submerged corridor with the chest, open it... it's leather and iron... again, you go to a highly guarded base, you find a treasure chest ... it's a SINGLE carbon ingot. They literally took all the fun out of searching for anything, there's no mystery to it and furthermore you can see all the treasure in the city you're currently in EVEN the treasure you can only obtain during a quest. I have already wasted my time several times on trying to get to a piece of armor which then turns out is blocked till some quest, so WTF does it show to me then? It really is so frustrating how it's all in the open in this game, such a huge game and there's almost no need for natural exploration because why would you if 99% of stuff is already showing on your map. It's so frustrating because there are such simple clever ways to do it differently like in the Witcher 3 for example. Next thing, stealth - it's all cool killing in stealth and all but even on hard difficulty I can go into the base and just obliterate anything without using stealth. The AI is awful, the guards are the dumbest mofos alive...but hey I still play it for some reason. The combat is fun, but the exploration is a complete failiure.
The story I found overall really good but some parts really didn’t need to be told. Agree with the gear even know the really good gear! You need to find certain areas that are not showing on the map. I found not doing all the grinding give me a good game overall! I levelled up nicely with the main missions. Agree with the AI very similar to Odyssey where they also walk around aimlessly not like RD2 where they have jobs and meaning. Overall I do think it’s a good game ! Not great! But with some of the open world games coming out Valhalla is worth trying 💯
@@DGear86 yeah it’s literally them first few hours of travelling and grinding. When you past that part the story is decent better than most games coming out. 👌
Yeah I’ve started streaming it as well. I love the original AC games, I just couldn’t get into origins and Odyssey. Channels like yours have certainly given me the temptation to play Valhalla and I’m glad
@ that’s awesome!! Glad I could help and good luck with the streaming. Remember to use UA-cam vertical streaming you will get more traffic to your channel. 😎
I think I’m waiting until the new game comes out. After seeing Ubisoft taking L after L I am expecting them to tighten up things and make some of their best games ever onwards. Outlaws is getting so many updates these days too which is proving they’re listening to fans.
That’s not a bad idea I failed to mention I ran into some bugs on boss fights that really ruined the immersion. I am also waiting for them to fix outlaws before trying since many have told me it’s actually a good game just the bugs.
@ yeah they need to start listening there games are really good in my opinion. Think will be the same reason for the delay on the new AC we shouldn’t be getting bugs but guessing deadlines from shareholders cause them to release games early. 🤔
@ have you checked on CDKeys? Also Xbox game pass holders get Valhalla for free! I am yet to check out mirage but it’s on my list $32 for 2 games in this current climate is great! You talking 250+ hours of gaming.
Playing it I really wanna play it on hard for.a challenge but the level being 20 or 50 levels higher is annoying so just changed it to normal grind is a pain Dam raid I hate it it’s not hard I just do it stealthy to make it somewhat like ac but dying and or living and not getting items for a specific armor in raid is a pain Luckily bought it for 15$ on sale for the base is a steal was thinking on getting the dlc but learning it’s the same thing I already do base game and repetitive and does not expand the story skipped it Though I haven’t finished it feel it might be a 6/10 when I finish combat solid, story ok but it might make me lost cuz of different missions right now several hours (20 or 30 forgot the side characters already and motives after taking a break that’s not good ) miss the simplicity of playing the game and know what’s going on ac oddsssy did it better in that aspect Acv least it expand lore but they had years to do it but barely so definitely not priority weapons variety seems solid but haven’t changed it been using axes so far The new level system yea definitely a grind ac oddesy did its better your usually 2-3 levels behind or more not hundreds plus I just use an xp farm to cheese it buck in oddesy what way to cheese to level up fast in Valhalla idk Definitely ac oddesy did it better least I could cheese the level system 😂. Only thing I’m liking they are less of a damage sponge changed difficulty but explained it in the other paragraph But definitely leveling up wise and story continuity worst of the ac games
Yeah I haven’t reached a issue until near end game! The jump from like 160-250+ is wild on the main missions! But was able to get past even with the large gap in levels. Provide also a little more of a challange. Raids i done for a few hours and stopped was really a choice to do it personally. That’s it for the price or on Xbox game pass for free it’s fully worth trying out! I enjoyed the story line with the boneless they should of kept him for longer 😂
To be honest, I tried it recently and got bored after 3 hours. The game lacks substance, I kept comparing it to Red Dead 2. The game just lacked any soul, most missions felt unnecessary, animals in the open world felt lifeless and aimless. Compared to Red Dead 2, a 2018 game, its a very bad game, borderline shameful. Compared to Unity and Black flag, it feels empty with no soul.
@@danielc9967 yeah first few hours I actually found most of the fast travel points with some raiding! Allowed me to stick with the main story even know there was 60 hours of story 20 hours of it was not needed! I still enjoyed it though. No where near the level of RD2 the goat of open world games really. I actually mentioned about that with the npcs walking around aimlessly was immersion breaking in many ways unfortunately it’s something many AC games suffer from.
What do you all think about playing AC Valhalla? Is it worth playing! Also if you like open world games drop us a follow 👍
Yes!
THIS MAN IS FROM THE FUTURE!
@@pickeljarsforhillary102 my names John Connors I did say 2024 into 2025 on the video. 😵😅

We’re still in 2024 time traveler
Only a few weeks now matey 😂
This game is 4 years old already? What is time?

Doesn't have NG+ it's why I didn't like Valhalla.
Use a mod if you got a pc
If after a challenge I tried no weapons and just fists! 😂but yeah would nice to have the option if you on console. 💯
