Now that the new Amanda the adventurer game is out I think I understand what’s so unnerving about it. When I was younger, I was so scared of movies that asked for answers when you were listening, it would stop and you would need to click something, it was often in the second CD coming with the movie, like extra games and such. I found it unnerving that something in a CD or DVD could be influenced or could listen to me and be almost like alive. I would cry when it would pause and need me to click something because I was scared it would get impatient and be hostile just like Amanda is. It traumatised me a little bit when I was left alone at home for a few minutes with a movie like this and I felt like the presence the TV had was watching/listening to me. Maybe I was alone with that feeling but it’s always made me cringe up to this day.

2:46 the gradual increase in volume of the ambience music lined up perfectly with a really loud and approaching plane outside that flew overhead and I was losing my s h i t progressively panicking at the noise _too loud to be coming from the game_ Also the monkey's teleportation skills remind me of that one sherlock game (i think it was) where Watson basically snuck up on the player when they weren't looking and was just a really unintentionally creepy glitch
Markiplier: Horror games are terrifying.” Also Mark: Might realize soon that is intros could possibly be even more scarier than any horror game also having lore.
Amanda The Adventurer: Tape 1. After finding the apples in the store, Amanda will say that they can now make apple pie. Afterwards, the credits will start to roll. There is a hidden message that says 'Turn the tv off NOW'. I don't know what happens afterwards, but apparently, you can turn off the tv during this moment.
During the second hidden tape, I think mark should just keep typing "Amanda". When he typed Amanda new pictures kept appearing, but then when he switched and wrote "Woolie", the tape ejected itself, probably meaning that it was the wrong input. Also in the same way that typing lamb in episode 2 revealed a secret, he should try typing "pie" or "eat" in episode 1. Just some of my thoughts; this was honestly a really cool game and I haven't creeped out like I did by this one in a long time!
Woolie is the "correct" input. Just like with the normal tapes, if you put in the wrong answer two times, the game will automatically put in the correct one.
@@momostudiozproduction7549 I'm actually curious about what will happen if he types 'Mouse' or 'Demon' in Tape 3. Will it do something else? Like surprise her by calling out what she is? What happens if you say 'Rat' or 'Run' at the beginning of Tape 1 when Amanda asks if you like apples? Or even 'Grave' for the later part of Tape 1 when Amanda asks if you can say apple? So many word combos to try! Although, the thing that I'm most interested in is the hidden message found in the credits of Tape 1. I really, REALLY want to know what will happen if you turn off the tv. Is it a path to get another secret tape? A hidden easter egg and/or jumpscare? A secret ending? I hope that Mark or even Matpat does a more extensive dive in the possibilities. This game seems way too interesting to ignore~
God the attitude between Mark and the monkey from the first one just gives me "Arche Enemies" feelings. Amanda the adventurer is such a clever idea, definitely needs more secrets, but if Mark does a choose your own adventure with that concept, I would love it. EDIT: To specify what I mean with this, is Mark looking at the camera and saying "do you know where blank is??" and if you choose the wrong option, the video gets more agressive and keeps saying "choose blank". I know space is a thing, of course, but this is a little different, I would love a dora parody.
I definitely think more would have happened if he kept typing Amanda. Whenever he typed in Woolie it just ended, probably because you're not allowed to type anything other than Amanda. Most likely, you'd have to type Amanda 3 times, but unfortunately he only did it twice.

Ok
@@momostudiozproduction7549 no. The game auto-types Woolie. You can't type anything else there
Woolie is the "correct" input.
10/10 monke
(Also seeing the choo choo Charles mention is super cool)
Right? Small world lol
God the attitude between Mark and the monkey from the first one just gives me "Arche Enemies" feelings. Like they are both old immortal beings with vastly different opinions of the world and universe that keep bumping into each other throughout time. No love loss, no friendship, just mutual respect for each others hatred of one another.

Markiplier playing Amanda The Adventurer, nice! I have so many theories on this game lol.
I'd love to hear them, I love theories and lore type stuff, they're very interesting.
At 25:02 the number 826 pops up on the secret image he finds, maybe you can put that in where you're supposed to type yes

My favourite thing about Buff Doge and Buff Imposter is that Mark said "Scared, Potter?" in both gameplays.
Amanda the adventurer is such a clever idea, definitely needs more secrets, but if Mark does a choose your own adventure with that concept, I would love it.
EDIT:
To specify what I mean with this, is Mark looking at the camera and saying "do you know where blank is??" and if you choose the wrong option, the video gets more agressive and keeps saying "choose blank". I know space is a thing, of course, but this is a little different, I would love a dora parody.
Let's upvote this comment and put it up front !
In space with Markiplier?
(And it was set it space!)
I definitely think more would have happened if he kept typing Amanda. Whenever he typed in Woolie it just ended, probably because you're not allowed to type anything other than Amanda. Most likely, you'd have to type Amanda 3 times, but unfortunately he only did it twice.

"No snakes 99.99% Guaranteed!"
Somehow theres 00.01% chances theres a snake in there
That’s what I thought-
For every thousand people, one met a snake. Which is not a lot of people in a hotel. There were 120 odd rooms in the beginning so it'd take maybe 2-3 days to find a snake.
